Chapter 41: Ariana first call to Jessie.
After the phone call with Leo feng, Ariana went to the study to meet her father.
She knocked.
"Come in." She heard her dad voice before entering the study.
"Take a sit." He said again.
In her past life ever since she became close to Rachel she started becoming rebellious, because of that she hardly have a one on one talk with him. All they do was argued till they separated.
After her rebirth, she noticed how weak her father is and also understands why he was asking her to behave. Her bad character not only as spoiled her image but also affect the Camelo corporation.
She has been trying her best to be on a good image not just for herself but also the Camelo corporation. Even though things are not going smoothly as she want it to be, she is trying her best.
Only few people noticed that and her dad is one of those people. After Madison told Evelyn her mother and Evelyn also tell him about it. Since then he have been taking notices of everything she has been doing.
"I heard you have been behaving well in the company lately."
"What do you think?"Even though she did Change, she still had a tiny grudge with her dad.
He sighed. "I will be retiring soon prepare to take over the company!"
Ariana was surprised and shocked. Even though she planned to take over the Camelo corporation, she wasn't expecting it so Early.
"Why so soon? You are still young and healthy." She asked with an eyebrow raise.
"Don't tell me you are thinking on putting the company burden on me!!"
Her father face turn livid "what burden? If that what you think then fine!! Take over the burden you created!!!" He slammed his hand on the table.
Outside the study,in the sitting room, Madison and her mother was having a conversation.
"So you mean she totally changed or she just doing this to get something?" Evelyn asked looking at Madison.
"I can feel it, I don't know how to put it in words but she did Change. She even promised to help me with my Gallery even though it's a partnership."
"Well that good, at least her father won't be worried too much again." She sighed and look towards the study room.
"What are your plans? Enough about Ariana let face you." She spoke again this time looking serious as she checked her time.
Ohh noooo momma is going serious with me!!! Madison thought as she looked at her mother.
"Am already making plans, I will go check some Gallery out to buy instead of building from the scratch again."
"Nice idea. Just—" her mother was about to give her advice when she got a call, she quicky stood up.
"Already on my way." She spoke to the phone before hanging up.
"We will continue this later, tell your dad I have an urgent meeting." She told Madison.
Madison just nodded and put a popcorn in her mouth chewing it slowly.
"It always like this, nothing changes."
Her mom heard her. "I promise I will spend more time with you this time."
"Same promises never get old." Madison chew another pop corn.
Not ready to Argue with Madison she left.
Not long after Ariana came out of the study and joined Madison in the sitting room.
"Where is mom?" Ariana asked.
Madison was just about to answer "she just went.... wait a minute did you just called my mom mom!!" She turned and face Ariana who was sitting at the other cushions beside herself.
Ariana looked at her and didn't reply. She just stared at the TV.
Cough cough, Madison cleared her throat. "Ohh she just received an urgent called and left. She said itay take up to a week before she comes back."
"Ohh, okay." Ariana was about to continue watching her moving when she remembered. In her past life her step mother was framed for selling confidential documents and the only evidence they had was her seal. And she was sure her step mother would never do that. She was strict and disciplined even to her daughter or maybe.... daughters now.
In her past life, she used to think her step mother was just like those evil step mother. It was later she figured out that she was only trying to help her but it was too late then.
"Do you know why she was in a rush?"
"I don't know, I guess something happened to the president or something.." Madison rested her back on the cushion throwing pop corn into her mouth as she answered Ariana.
She then noticed Ariana abnormal behavior. She sat down straight and asked. "Why do you ask, you are not someone that cares about other people matters unless it affects you."
Ariana Stand up and looked at her, she then nodded her head, murmuring to herself.
"It can be... Isn't it too early... Did I disrupt the time line?"
"What are you even saying, speak up!" Madison looked at her with a serious face.
"It nothing, am going back to my room. Good night."
Madison watch her climb the stairs.
"What with past life, Confidential and fraud had to do with my mom??" She murmured to herself. As that what the only thing she could pick up in all what Ariana said.
"Wooo, I will just leave it, if it something important, she will tell me."
Ariana Entered her room and called Leo feng.
"Check what Rachel and Anthony have been up to lately and also what is going on in the blue house." She cut the call then started walking all-around.
She picked her phone again and made a call.
This time the phone rang twice before the person on the other end picked it.
"Jessie, we need to meet."
"Come to my office tomorrow noon." Jesse replied.
The call ended.
