Nathaniel had arrived at home—or at least, the place Ginah claimed was theirs. A four-bedroom apartment with a furnished open-plan layout. Comfortable, warm, yet somehow sterile. A place built around him, not for him.

Yet but he would adjust, or maybe get an upgrade later on given the compensation he had received from the B.O.A's supposed negligence . Ginah walked passed him , looking into his silver eyes curiously they in here opinion weren't as bright as they were before they seemed darker traumatized in a sense ,yet there was a presence behind those eyes they slowly flashed white then silver, devoid of most feeling, essentially, essentially nothing but a blank slate, she had to make this work make him believe that he was who she said he was. She guided him to the kitchen and sat him down, trying to trace his inner thoughts to get into his head see what made him tick, this was going to be worse than she thought the damn poker face got to her, A bead of sweat traced down her temple. This wasn't going to be easy ,There was nothing to analyze nothing to pick apart, it was hopeless he was in the simplest of terms hard rebooted, wiped with present files added in to the hard drive.

She'd figured out he'd retained knowledge and skills—trivia confirmed it. Selective retention. Intentional, perhaps. She was atleast sure enough that keeping him occupied would buy her enough time as she started conversation with a new topic.

She reminded herself this wasn't just about care. This was observation, containment, persuasion. And he wasn't responding to any of the triggers.Nothing to trace. No hooks to pull. Just silence and compliance. She decided to try a new angle of attack.

"Hey Nathan would you be comfortable if I told you of your mission as a freelancer?, He perked up at the question.

He had asked her to tell him more about himself showing her interest.

Arete looked on at the registration form on her desk and the copy of the mans identity card infront of her , she sighed as she looked at her husband lovingly he was busy making calls and debriefing his secretary sending instructions to the raiders under, they had found a math for there John Doe's identity Nathaniel Alderman,

"Anything interesting on him?" he asked.

"No not really.", She commented," our sources say that he usually keeps to himself, usually solo clearing low level biomes with low damage to available to the carcasses. His augment isn't that special either a flawed kinetic stockpile ability that allows him to transfer a percentage of energy used in movement and impacts and store it for what are essentially critical impacts critical impacts only gets one use then has to recharge thou.", this was a similar to the old Chinese technique Fajin of he old world.

It would be wise to keep him under close watch. the knight association should be expecting a re-evaluation given the events of the anomaly.

"The association will probably place him in one of their regulated knight teams if he does show enough promise, we will place him in our roster when we get the chance , it would be nice if we did provide him with some incentives." said Sung Park.

"We also still need information on the happenings within the inner core of the anomaly and he is our only witness so that's a plus.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ginah looked at Nathan and at his hollow gaze but he was thinking, nothing was wrong there was no problem. there was something she ha taken note of her ward as she watched him crouch in the center of the training field they had rented for the day, he stretched as he began to move and move he did, his steps were light and quick as he sidestepped across the field , moving into hand stand positions as he springed across building up power from his movement his veins slightly glowing cyan under his skin as his eyes began to glow cyan, coalescing, stockpiling as he jumped into the air as he let of an aerial kick which exploded with minor G-force winds. She saw him stay airborne for those few microseconds as he landed. He clenched his fists as he returned to basic stance feeling each individual muscle-fiber flex as if charged , his eyes pulsed cyan sharply cyan light escaping them as he began to move in the same pattern over and over.

She had remarked that his augment was only at the base level of its functioning only his body functioning, when hey had registered it of his body in he tank.

25% of the kinetic energy generated by movement to build up power and this was its base state., by all means it shouldn't even be that strong she said as she read the file.

The file dictated that the genes found in his body dictated a stronger physiology, modified , harder bone density faster blood flow greater efficiency in movement with a more flexible body, similar to the humans post resurgence after the fall of old earth.

The field they were in was a community training range , open for aspiring knights and strengthened by manna cores collected from biomes.

Essentially, training grounds can't get seriously destroyed as the fields scale to the fighters present to a certain maximum threshold, essentially an artificial reactive force this was proven by an essential law one who cultivates heir power on Atheris adds power to Atheris the planets durability at this point would take force sufficient enough to destroy a red giant star.

Nathan had continued on for hours on repeat getting accustomed to the working conditions of his augment as the interface appeared infront of him, he was sitting down having some was beside Ginah who began working his muscles.

Alarm: skill critical strike has been learned.

Augment kinetic muscle has increased by 4 levels from its initial level.

The glow in Nathan's eyes was now stable glowing a more intense cyan as his body sparked an excess build up of power there was a pressure around him as he looked at a sizeable boulder facing a cliff face, he blurred into motion faster than she could react in her weakened state, a punch was aimed at the boulder but this time it as different as he struck the boulder with force the kinetic energy darkening as it concentrated exploding outward in a shockwave showered in sparks of cyan.

  CRITICAL IMPACT!

He roared as he struck the boulder a chunk of the cliff face fall as the boulder broke into hundreds of fragments, the ground covered in dust this was surprising considering everything was reinforced to his level, this increase was crazy impossible he had adapted to the augment that fast and he had developed , he had landed his eyes silver his fists smoking as he had expended the available power in his system.

He exhaled steam leaving his mouth following the display a smile crossing his face he gave Ginah a thumbs up.

He had asked Ginah to rate his form she responded with a gentle smile saying it was great, she then struck him up the head for the sudden shockwave. Nathaniel had apologized as she laughed.

Later that day Nathaniel had been summoned for re-evaluation, they wanted to reclassify him.
