I heard him murmur those words. A prayer to the goddess Yog? And then, he said "help us"; he really planned to stay there to protect me then. But prayers are rarely answered. Mistress sometimes says we shouldn't rely on miracles, but rather on others and ourselves to get through.
The gods aren't so kind to humans, but other humans are.
