It was twenty minutes to ten and still no sign of Elisa.
Missed calls still not returned, text messages still unreplied.
Cael sat in his office staring at the wall clock in his office, a bottle of half finished whiskey on the table in front of him.
Mira walked into his office, worry all over her face.
"Still nothing."
She let out a deep sigh and sat down. "Why didn't she tell me where she was going?"
Cael gave her a comforting look but said nothing.
Then Cael's phone buzzed. A text from Jonathan.
Gate guard just informed me that Elisa just drove into the compound. She's back.
They quickly stood up and went outside watching the car drive up to the driveway.

Elisa drove up the driveway smiling, her chest warm from the memories of the day. She has not felt happiness and freedom like this since her parents died four years ago.
Till she saw Mira and Cael waiting at the end of the driveway.
Her smile slowly vanished.
Mira looked concerned. Cael looked furious.
