After a month in Nigeria,it was time for her to go back to London.Adaorah enjoyed her stay in Lagos,the holidays were over and she must be at school first thing tomorrow morning.It pained Jidenna as she was leaving soon.Her parents saw her off to the airport and left but Jidenna stayed back to make his last moment with her worthwhile till whenever she would come back to Nigeria.Her flight was announced and Jidenna hugged her and they kissed which lingered and their lips parted which left Adaorah blushing.She closed Nonso's chapter in her life after he came to her house when Adaorah refused to pick his calls and reply his text messages.He was angry, shouting and calling on Adaorah."Why don't you pick my calls again,did you think you're the only girl i have in my life for you to treat a man like me,do you know who I am,do you know my worth,is it because you're father is wealthy then you treat everyone like trash, infact I'm here to tell you that I don't like you, it's just to add you to my list of ladies,you now compare me to that stupid boy you're following that looks hungry and you can't even help him and.."A slap he never expected landed across his face and his tounge laid still in his mouth."How dare you say such things about my boyfriend like that, you're very stupid, idiot, feeling like you can buy the world,now get out of my house before I call the police on you. "Nonso left feeling bitter as the security men led him out of the gate.But now Jidenna was everything she could ask for.She got into the plane as Jidenna waved till the plane took off and was out of sight.Three years later she graduated with the best results and her parents attended her graduation.She came back to Nigeria with her parents and Jidenna was filled with joy as he welcomed her at the airport.They enjoyed each other company and after three months of Adaorah's return to Nigeria Jidenna graduated with second class upper.It was a day that remained green in his memory.His mother was so proud of him and she danced around whenever she met a friend and told about her son's success.A year later Jidenna proposed to Adaorah.She never saw it coming.He told her they were going out to meet some friends at Banana Island.She got dressed and they left in her car.They got to one of the posh restaurant there and they took a table at the centre.Minutes later, a young gentleman came towards Adaorah and placed a rose flower in her hand saying"You look beautiful" She became confused at the gesture when four other men did the same to her and when she sought Jidenna's face to explain what was going on,she saw him on his knees,his eyes bright as they reflected the lights in the chandelier above them.A diamond ring shone before her as Jidenna open the ring box saying"Will you marry me Ada". Everyone in the restaurant stood up and they videoed the latest couple in town,the men smiled while the ladies giggled whispering "Say yes,say yes"Adaorah stood looking down as her dream became a reality before her"Yes I will" she said as Jidenna stood on his feet placing the ring on her finger and kissed her.The night saw them at The Palazino jamming to the music as they joined friends in celebrating their love journey.
