I wanted to desperately call him and ask what the hell was wrong with him now because I knew that a person who wanted to exact revenge from me a few days ago could not change like this overnight. "Why do you look tense?" Zander's question broke me out of my thoughts when I deleted the message and put my phone away.
"Nothing, I am hungry. Do you think we can stop by somewhere to have lunch?" I asked him as I looked out at the road. Apart from trees and occasional road signs, there was not a building in sight.
"I am not sure what we would find in here. Could you check using the map?" he asked me, and I nodded my head and unlocked my phone. After browsing for nearly ten minutes I finally found a place that is about two miles from here.
