Abigail stepped out of the house with Genevieve, unsure where they were going.
As they got to the car, she waited for Genevieve to give her the key so she would drive, but Genevieve ignored her and got into the driver's seat.
"Are you not getting in?" Genevieve asked when she remained standing by the car, and Abigail reluctantly got into the passenger seat.
As she fastened her seatbelt, Genevieve turned to her, "Did you get enough clothes yesterday? Do you want to shop for more? I have time until my date. We can go shopping. I need some new clothes," Genevieve offered since she didn't have any where else in mind to take her.
Abigail shifted in her seat. Genevieve's 'kindness' was making her uncomfortable because she didn't know what to expect.
Perhaps she wanted to take her shopping with her so she could carry all her shopping bags as usual? Abigail mused.
