Tom was silent for a moment as he glanced at Harry, his best friend and right hand man, who had been seated with him in his office.
Harry, who had been waiting to tease his nephew, Jamal, about calling Tom more times than he called him, paused when he saw the look on Tom's face.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked, recognizing the look on Tom's face to mean trouble.
"Repeat what you just said, Jamal," Tom said, placing the phone on speaker for Harry to hear it for himself.
"You heard me. Genevieve is not Dawn. That bastard has been making a fool out of us this whole time," Jamal repeated, and Harry looked up from the phone to Tom's face.
"What are you talking about Jamal? How did you know this? Where are you?" Harry asked, taken aback by the information.
Jamal sighed. This was going to take a while, and now that he thought about it, he wasn't sure he had the privacy he needed to talk about this freely here.
