Kira's POV
We had finally defeated this creature.
I heaved a deep sigh of relief as I saw it disintegrate into nothing.
Ryker sighed.
"Now we have to find the others," I said.
"Too bad you disintegrated him before we could get the chance of asking him where the others were," Ryker teased, pointing to the ash remains of the creature.
"We will find them either way," I said, smiling.
"I just hope they are alive."
"They will be alive, just that they might just be stuck in a nightmare."
"Then we have to find them as soon as possible," Ryker urged. We began to navigate our way out of the cave space through the opening that the creature had made on the wall with my body.
Ryker and I went to assist Emilia in standing up.
"Can you walk?" I asked her, placing my hands on her legs to feel them.
"I guess, but maybe with a little support."
"You wouldn't be needing that," I said. I closed my eyes and then began to channel healing magic from within me, and in no time, she was healed.
