"Have they really already left?"

"The elders have given orders — even if the target escapes from Meteor Street, they must be eliminated!"

"Can you determine their location?"

On the outskirts of Meteor Street, where the recent battle had taken place, the members of the Meteor Pursuit Team stood brimming with murderous intent.

At the same time, some of them turned their attention toward a newly arrived man wearing a headscarf.

This man — clearly a tracker — had been sent to assist the Meteor Pursuit Team.

A projection-like screen appeared in front of him, displaying a blinking red dot.

The turbaned man's tracking ability was similar to that of the woman in the felt hat who had been killed earlier. With enough information, he could accurately track his target.

Upon his arrival, he activated his Nen ability to locate Ethan Wells. The result confirmed what the team suspected — Ethan was no longer in the area.

"Don't worry," the turbaned man grinned. Staring at the blinking red dot on his projection screen, he confidently declared, "The target can't escape my tracking. Based on the current signal, he's roughly ten kilometers away in that direction."

"Move out!"

Antonio, the captain of the Meteor Pursuit Team, wasted no time. With a sharp look in the indicated direction, he took the lead and charged forward.

Swish...

The rest of the Meteor Pursuit Team — along with the turbaned man — followed closely behind.

Protecting the Tracker

"We'll locate the target soon. If a fight breaks out, Number 4, Number 10, and I will be responsible for protecting you!"

While moving, Number 3 moved closer to the turbaned man, giving him a firm warning.

Both Number 4 and Number 10 likewise maneuvered themselves nearby, forming a protective formation — clear evidence of their heightened vigilance.

This caution was well justified. After all, they had already lost the woman in the felt hat earlier.

If the turbaned man were to be killed as well, and Ethan retreated back into the Nen Space, they would once again lose track of his location.

"I understand. Thanks for watching my back!"

As a first-class Nen user, the turbaned man was confident in his own abilities.

However, when the Council of Elders recruited him, they had briefed him on the situation. Knowing the Meteor Pursuit Team had already faced casualties made him wary — even with his strength, he knew better than to let his guard down.

Closing In...

A distance of over ten kilometers was hardly a challenge for the fast-moving Meteor Pursuit Team — they could reach their destination in a matter of minutes.

But just as they neared the target's supposed location, the turbaned man's face suddenly twisted in surprise, and he came to an abrupt stop.

Noticing this, the rest of the Meteor Pursuit Team quickly halted as well.

"What's wrong? Why did you stop?"

"Did the target's position change?"

"What's happening?"

All eyes focused on the turbaned man, their expressions tense with caution. Each member scanned their surroundings warily, half-expecting Ethan Wells to appear from the shadows at any moment.
