"Yanyan, what's he doing here?"
Ziyan glanced at Tang Shaosheng, then told Su Nian, "Let me go back."
"Absolutely not." She had just viciously scolded him yesterday. If Ziyan went back with him now, he might vent his anger on her again.
Seeing Tang Shaosheng approaching, the two stopped talking.
The meal went by quietly, with only Su Zhen talking the most. She sweetly complimented Ziyan's cooking, complained that Su Bao wasn't playing with her, and asked why her Uncle Shen hadn't come.
Su Nian, annoyed that she favored Shen Hanxiu, just kept adding food to her bowl to shut her up.
After the meal, Su Nian and Ziyan cleaned up the kitchen. Then, Tang Shaosheng came to the kitchen doorway and looked at Ziyan, saying, "Let's go."
Before Su Nian could start scolding Tang Shaosheng, Ziyan walked up to him and gestured, "I need to speak with Nian'nian for a moment."
Tang Shaosheng glanced at the two women, then stepped out of the kitchen.
