Chapter 99 - 1st Throne, Judge

'Finding a way to reach that pagan god is proving to be difficult.' Cedric crossed his arms as he walked through Valar.

How peaceful it seemed; the news of the war declaration was still firmly kept within the royal palace.

He hoped God would have granted him a miracle and bring the pagan god before him, so that he may cast him to hell.

And yet it was sinful to expect God to grant his wish.

To sin was human, he understood that even as God's most faithful warrior he was not immune to it.

'I will have to pray about this...' Cedric nodded before making his way towards area where he sparred with Aurelia.

The princess was a quick learner; after only a couple of sessions, she was able to keep up and not lost in an instant.

'I am very proud of her... she is blessed by God.' Cedric let out a small smile under his helmet.

However, this time was different; she had her regent duty to attend to, which left Cedric with ample free time to think and prepare for things to come.

The demonic invasion was a cause worthy of the highest sphere of angels.

He would avoid using Seraphim, but perhaps a Throne would suffice.

Once Cedric and Aurelia departed to purge demonic forces, the kingdom would be left woefully undefended.

Domestic and foreign enemies alike would use such an opportunity.

As such, Oraphiim or perhaps Cherubiim would act as ultimate defenders.

Oraph or so called wheels of God's throne were those who dispensed God's will, they were his word and his harbingers.

They were exalted beings, much like Cherubim and Seraphim.

Cherub would be ideal defender of course, as they were ones who guarded gates of Eden, and yet Cedric hesitated.

He did not wish to summon higher angels than what was necessary.

He approached the battered field. Spars with Aurelia had rendered the surrounding land barren, stripping it of any life.

Craters and glassed land littered the surroundings as if he had stepped on the surface of a moon.

The entire area was flattened by their friendly duels.

'To think I would enjoy sparring with a former infidel... No, it is wrong to call her that now.' Cedric chuckled.

She was a Christian now, her past did not matter. Aurelia had proven herself as a true believer, especially with how eagerly she preached.

Cedric approached the empty field before clasping his hands together and kneeling.

He did not have the opportunity to pray for more than a day, something that was unacceptable.

'God, I beg you to forgive me for my lack of prayer. I pray that your light continues to guide me. I pray that you allow me to get help of your most supreme Angels. Demons are encroaching, I pray that this future kingdom of Christ never falls as long as your faithful live within it's borders. Amen ' Cedric took a moment to meditate before opening his eyes.

It was time to summon a throne.

He took a deep breath as he stretched his arms forward.

'[Create Angelic Construct:Throne]!'

In the next moment, blindness. Light of ten thousand suns descended upon the world, eclipsing Ariel by at least tenfold.

Cedric could hear the bells ringing and the world shifting as the Throne descended upon the world.

Before Cedric floated a being of many eyes, its colossal form rotating around itself.

Its very presence was a praise to God.

It's form was of two wheels, rotating around each other, the wheels had eyes over them.

It truly did not resemble humanity in any shape or form, however, it did not need to.

As one of the closest Angels to God, they were exalted beings that existed purely by God's Will.

It did not speak, it did not move.

After all, Supreme Angels did not need to move, they did not need to fight, they did not need to hate.

They would bring judgment, and judgement alone.

The many-eyed being stared at Cedric for what seemed like moments.

The gaze of Angel peered into his soul.

Its form spun as the divine echo reverberated around him.

"Honored Father, I thank you for creating me. What is thy bidding? Those who dare stand against Father shall be Judged." Throne spoke, its voice a melody.

A melody that shattered the very ground.

It was like a god had descended.

An entity only weaker than Cedric himself.

"I have summoned you, Mighty Throne to act as the guardian of this Kingdom. For it is a Kingdom which shall embrace Christ." Cedric stated with reverence filling his voice.

Thrones were truly glorious beings, Cedric prayed in his mind. Such an honor was beyond mortals like himself, and yet God had declared him worthy of commanding his legions.

Cedric shed a tear. "God truly is great!"

In a moment, Throne's wheels stopped spinning, its eyes focusing on Cedric before the Throne was enveloped in a tide of Gold.

The sun once again felt dark from the sheer brightness of Throne.

A moment after the mighty Wheels of a Throne disappeared and were replaced by a beautiful woman.

She had shining golden hair, gold eyes, and gold wings.

She wore an intricate suit that shined of divine radiance.

Unlike previous Angels that represented silver, the Throne was that of Gold.

She knelt before him, something that an Angel of her rank should never do and yet he would not question such high ranking Angel's actions.

"Greetings, beloved Father, I am Throne. I go by the title of 'The Judge. ' I kindly request that I be granted the name so that I may fulfill your mission." She spoke sternly.

From her tone he could tell woman was incredibly strict, something that he deeply respected. After all it was a nice change of pace compared to Ariel's behavior.

"I name you, 'Raguel.'" Cedric stated, a name granted to one of the God's closest angels.
