Living with the Adams, could not be considered bad. It was rather fun and interesting. Kevin loved the thought of living with them. He had unintentionally developed a strong feeling for the family. Expecially Brittany andJessica. Why or when, he didn't know. Maybe it was because Brittany gave him the motherly love he had so longed for. Or, Brittany treated him as his own or, his little step-sister played around with him, disturbing him and calling him all sort of funny names making him feel at home or maybe Ethan picked fight with him over little unimportantthings. He had even forgotten when he first called Brittany mom. It could be either reasons but he knew he couldn't love them. They were his enemy's family and loving them would be akin to giving up which he was so against. His grandma needed justice and he would help her get it. But again judging from thier interactions, hurting Maxwell is also akin to hurting them. He didn't want to hurt them so he decided to find a way to appease both sides. Ha, then comes in Ethan, this guy Kevin always found it amusing when he thought of him. He wouldn't say he loved him but he saw him as his little brother and liked him. But what makes him like him is when Ethan is trying to pick up little fights with him. He felt that Ethan saw him as a treat. He had tried telling him to dispell that thought for he had never thought of competing with him before. But the little guy founded his gentle explanation more threatening that he always competed with Kevin for things. Seeing his attitude Kevin decided to give him what he wanted and sometimes fought back when he went overboard. He liked calling himself big brother and calling Ethan his little brother and he knew Ethan hates them. one occasion Ethan had caught Kevin stealing in school. Ethan had founded it astonishing and took a video of this rare event. That happened when they were barely 14 years. But he didn't know that was the works of Kevin's unimaginable mental disorder " kleptomania ". He kept quite and waited for a perfect day to threaten Kevin with it. Then the day came when Maxwell had wanted to take them to a special place they didn't know. Ethan wanted to be with his father alone on that day and threatened Kevin with the video saying

What do you think they would now think of you. Well Kevin, I never thought you would be this petty as to steal such a thing, I mean we are wealthy and you easily afford those money so why steal them. At that time Kevin was really infuriated, he hadn't wanted to come along in the first place and was looking for excuses but then this guy again came and angered him over and over. This time, Ethan had crossed his limit. He had looked at at the video undisturbed and smirked saying
" you know something Ethan I hadn't wanted to go in the first place but since you are pushing I would comply to your wishes and go with you. After all there would be no happiness there without big brother right "
He was the least unborthered expecially when the news reached Maxwell, but he wondered what Brittany would think of him. He just hoped she wouldn't think bad of him. In the end Kevin followed them. Ethan was so furious that he send the video to his parents, but to his surprise, he didn't get what he was looking for, a scolding, punishment, nothing. He was sure he had sent the video but it was like he hadn't sent anything. Little did he know was Maxwell had seen the video and knew that he had sent it but pretended not to see it. He had even secretly deleted it from Brittany's phone. Upon knowing that nothing within his expectations had happened, Ethan thought of resending but to his horror, the video was no more on his phone. It seems someone had deleted it from his phone. He became furious since he knew Kevin had done that and he didn't have any other copy. The event passed swiftly without any one knowing about it.
Also Kevin never forgot about his disease. He made sure he did enough research about kleptomania and secretly bought most of it's drugs and taking them as prescribed. But his disease seems to be more serious. From his researches, kleptomania cannot be cured and even though medicines do not help, he takes them anyway. It was said he needed meditation and consultation and visiting doctors. He found everything frustrating but the disease wasn't helping him at all. A little emotional distress and other psychological issues could simply trigger it and he would have no choice but to steal. This was more like a headache to him, he would sometimes feel extremely guilty, sometimes he would feel so lost and to think that he had no one to share his problem with at this age was very sad. He always felt he was unlucky and useless. To the outside world, he was a normal person leaving a normal life but inwardly he was struggling and anytime he steals, he would have to singlehandedly clean all trails and even return the thing he had stolen. He refused to believe that there was no cure and took it upon himself to find a cure for his disease. And because of this he decided to be a pharmaceutical scientist.
Not to leave the black circle out. Kevin's position in the black circle became higher since he became Maxwell's son. Most people feared him and almost all the people in 'black circle' accepted him knowing he would definitely succeed Maxwell. But surely some people didn't like him. They didn't like Kevin and questioned Maxwell why he wanted to make someone he barely knew succeed him but Maxwell as usual ignored them and paid more attention to his laid out plans for his adopted child. Maxwell also took him to several top notch meetings among the black circle even though he was young. He was in charge of several companies and begun taking decisions in the company at the age of 15 years. His decisions were all on point and his methods were all extremely effective. Those who had doubted him in the beginning had change of heart and gradually liked him.
