Shisui muttered," Then is their any point for other members to participate if Bibi Dong herself is going to join? She alone can destroy the nation let alone rescuse someone."
Almight said," Please don't destroy any nation or anything, Lady Bibi Dong."
Bibi Dong just smiled at him, causing Almight and Nezu to sweat a little.
Ignoring the little teasing play, Irene asked," Well you told us their is gonna be a penalty but what is the specification? What is the penalty?"
Xuanyu replied. "There's a penalty for failure. Strength sealed for eight days."
That got everyone's attention.
"Hold up. Why are we getting penalties for failing quests?" Rias asked.
Xuanyu shook his head. "I don't know. This is the first time one has appeared. And there's no extra detail on what 'strength sealed' actually means—whether it affects cultivation, physical abilities, or something else entirely."
"Tch. That's risky," Booma muttered.
"Do we know anything about the girl we're supposed to save?" Acier asked.
"Not much. Just her name—Eri. And given that it's a quest from BNHA, it's safe to assume she's in serious danger," Xuanyu answered..
Finally, Nezu exhaled sharply. "Alright. Who's going? I need to make appropriate preparation if some of you destroy a city or anything while rescusing the girl."
Irene smirked," Don't worry, we are members of Wish Granting Shop, not Fairy tail."
Xuanyu raised his eyebrows, Fairy Tail? So Irene world is named Fairy Tail, and according to her insuation, it seems it's a organisation.
He came out of his thoughts, when Shiusui asked," What is Fairy Tail, lady Irene?"
Irene smiled," It's the magical guild that my daughter, Era joined. just recently she became a S-rank mage of the guild." She finished with a proud looks on her face, that every parents get when bragging about their children's achivements.
Hearing her everybody congratulated her, while Rias patted the back of Lily and Acier saying," Don't worry, you are both going to meet your children soon too."
Lily and Acier smiled at Rias.
Xuanyu said," Indeed we will be meeting them soon, in fact we will be visiting every members world soon. It's due to my personal quests and some other reasons. So it won't take much time. So don't be anxious."
Lily and Acier smiled widely, while Xuanyu turned to Irene and asked," So did you talk to your daughter?"
Irene got little sad and shook her head," No, I...." She didn't finish as her eyes got little wet.
Seeing this, the ladies of the group comforted her.
Xuanyu sighed internally. He understood Irene's pain. Even though she was strong beyond measure, there were still things that hurt her—things that strength alone couldn't fix.
He let the moment settle before shifting the conversation back to the mission. "Alright, so far, Bibi Dong is confirmed to join. Who else? I won't be jonining this quest, because that stunt of him, got to hyped up and all, caused me some injuries. So their are three spots left.".
Albedo suddenly appeared beside Xuanyu, her golden eyes gleaming with unwavering devotion. She leaned in slightly, her voice carrying a mixture of concern and admiration.
"My lord, to think those lesser beings dared to harm you… It is an insult I can barely tolerate." Her fingers twitched slightly as if resisting the urge to summon her halberd. "You should not trouble yourself with such trivial competitions when your magnificence is already beyond compare."
She straightened, pressing a hand over her chest in a formal yet passionate gesture. "Allow me to join this mission, my lord. I shall personally ensure that no harm befalls the honor of this shop in your absence."
Her tone softened, a rare vulnerability in her voice. "And… if my performance pleases you, I would be most delighted if you were to acknowledge my efforts."
The room fell into silence for a moment as everyone processed her dramatic yet heartfelt declaration.
Nezu sighed. "Why do I feel like she's treating this more like a holy crusade than a rescue mission?"
Shisui smirked. "I think she just wants an excuse to impress Xuanyu."
Albedo, unbothered by their remarks, kept her gaze locked onto Xuanyu, waiting for his approval like a knight awaiting their king's decree.
Xuanyu silently sweatdropped. He knew Albedo's devotion was unwavering, but if he simply accepted her without discussion, the others would definitely protest. He cleared his throat.
"Umm, Albedo… Let's discuss this with everyone first. It wouldn't be fair if I just voted for you directly."
Albedo's expression remained composed, but there was a subtle flicker of disappointment in her golden eyes. Nevertheless, she nodded gracefully. "Of course, my lord. I shall abide by the process."
Just as Xuanyu turned to address the group, Shisui crossed his arms and muttered, "Honestly, with Bibi Dong going, is there even a need for anyone else? She alone could wipe out an entire nation, let alone rescue a single person."
Almight immediately raised his hand. "Please don't destroy a nation or anything, Lady Bibi Dong."
Bibi Dong merely smiled in response, her unreadable expression making even Nezu and Almight sweat slightly.
Ignoring the brief exchange, Irene spoke up. "Power isn't everything. We don't know the specifics of the situation. There might be complications that require a more nuanced approach."
Nezu nodded in agreement. "That's true. Having a diverse team could be beneficial. Strategy and precision might be required. Besides, it's always good to have backups."
Almight straightened. "Then, I will join as well. This is my world, and I want to personally ensure the safety of this child."
Xuanyu glanced around. "That leaves two more spots."
Irene wiped her eyes, a faint smile returning to her lips. "I'll go. A little fieldwork might be refreshing."
Shisui sighed but smirked. "Fine. I'll take the last spot. My abilities should be useful for a stealth approach if needed."
Just as Shisui backed down, chaos erupted.
"I want to go!" Rias declared, stepping forward with determination.
Booma adjusted her glasses. "Honestly, I'm itching for some action myself."
Lily crossed her arms. "If Acier is going, then I should too. We both deserve a chance."
Irene raised an eyebrow. "I didn't think this many would be interested."
Nezu sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Why do I feel like this is about to turn into a mess?"
Xuanyu pinched the bridge of his nose. "Alright, listen up! We can't all go. There are only four slots. We need a fair way to decide."
Irene smirked. "Simple. Rock-paper-scissors."
Nezu nearly choked. "Are you seriously telling me that a group of world-dominating powerhouses—gods, devils, warriors, and geniuses—are deciding an important mission… with a children's game?"
Irene grinned. "Got a better idea?"
Nezu opened his mouth, then sighed. "Forget it. Do what you want."
As Xuanyu was about to start the match, a deep, rumbling chuckle echoed through the room.
"I shall participate as well," Ditian said, stepping forward. His golden eyes gleamed with amusement. "It has been far too long since I played such a trivial game."
Everyone turned to look at the Beast God.
"You're interested in rock-paper-scissors?" Booma asked incredulously.
Ditian smirked. "Why not? If fate decides my participation through such a means, then so be it."
Xuanyu sighed. "Alright then. Everyone who wants in, gather up. One round. No cheating. Winner takes the last spot."
Rias, Booma, Lily, Acier, Albedo, and Ditian formed a circle.
"Rock..."
"Paper..."
"Scissors!"
Hands flew forward.
Then—stunned silence.
Everyone turned to look at the unexpected winner.
Albedo.
She had thrown scissors, while the others had either paper or rock.
The entire room went silent for a second before—
"WAIT, WHAT?!" Rias shouted in disbelief.
Booma's jaw dropped. "How the hell did I lose at this?!"
Lily groaned. "Noooo! I was sure I had it this time."
Acier blinked before sighing. "Looks like luck wasn't on my side today."
Ditian blinked in genuine surprise before letting out a hearty chuckle. "It seems fate has favored you, Albedo. I shall accept this loss with dignity."
Albedo, meanwhile, remained completely composed. She turned to Xuanyu with a proud yet expectant look, her golden eyes shining with satisfaction.
She clasped her hands together and bowed slightly. "My lord, I won. Please praise me."
The entire room fell silent again.
Xuanyu blinked. Twice.
Then sighed. "Good job, Albedo."
Albedo's face lit up. "Thank you, my lord!" She practically glowed with happiness.
Nezu watched the whole thing with an exhausted look. "I swear, I need a vacation…"
Rias crossed her arms, still sulking. "Tch. Next time."
Booma shook her head. "How did l lose to rock-paper-scissors of all things? I have four arms."
Shisui chuckled. "Honestly, that was fun to watch."
Xuanyu clapped his hands. "Alright, final lineup—Bibi Dong, Almight, Irene, and Albedo. Get ready. We only have two hours."
