Chapter 54 - Sariel's Intemse Investigation (1).

[Sorcerous Dynasty (Sarion).]

Feldway: 「Damn hindrance... *Sigh* That was really intense.」

Feldway, who had finished his work, sighed in frustration.

He had expended a lot of energy, and a mental strain assaulted him.

The frustration was irritating. He had endured all the harsh words being thrown at him, so he decided to have his well-deserved rest.

The hindrance had been dealt with, and their plans could proceed smoothly as usual.

I don't really know about banishing a primordial to that place.

Besides, we are immortal. But perhaps that law would not work there?

He was sure that all forces were non-existent in that realm, and perhaps the factor responsible for their repeated return would also cease to function.

That is, the great holy spirits.

It was just a speculation, but it couldn't be ignored.

Either way, it would be a test. Let's see the results.

He had every intention of testing this theory out.

If Sariel got revived, it meant that his art 『Chrono-Saltation』would be ineffective on the true dragons, too.

The truly immortal species were going to be a problem to deal with if they could revive from death even in that instance.

A primary example would be the Black King Noir.

A rat in Feldway's favor, who could instantly revive himself, ignoring time.

He knew that for this to happen, their plan would need to be on hold.

The usual political activities would ensue, but world domination would have to wait.

Feldway: 「As for you...」

He then turned to look at the entity in his palm.

Feldway: 「It looks like you'd dissappear without a physical form. How did you even hold out in this form?」

He questioned no one in particular.

Feldway: 「I guess you're just as resilient as the bastard. Tch, I can already see the resemblance between you two.」

The two had been communicating using a mental link, so it was currently impossible to speak without that same mental link.

It was currently severed, so it could be said that he was speaking to himself constantly.

He had already considered a plan to create a physical body for their new ally.

The residents of the divine tree would do.

He planned to use the sacred magic『Birthday』as a medium.

Just then, a familiar voice reached out to him.

Michael: 「(Feldway.)」

Feldway: 「(Hm? Michael? How are things on your side?)」

Michael: 「(Not good.)」

Feldway: 「(I see. I'll return soon.)」

Saying that, the communication link was cut.

He looked at the far away divine tree and sighed.

Feldway: 「It seems that will have to wait for another day.」

Steeling his resolve, he used Spatial Magic to teleport himself out of the area.

◇◇◇

[Eastern Empire]

Feldway appeared in front of the throne belonging to Emperor Rudra.

Seated on that very throne was the figure of Rudra, but the air around him made it clear that it was also not him.

It was Michael, the embodiment of the concept of justice.

He was no longer a mere skill, but rather, something more akin to a living life-form now.

Rather than existing with a skill core, he now had something he could call a soul.

It was all thanks to his closest friend, Feldway.

He was grateful to him, which is why he was ready to help him in whatever way that he could.

As he appeared before him? A cold yet deep smile crept on his face.

Micheal: 「I am more than happy to see that devil's head.」

Feldway: 「Right. I didn't have the luxury of doing so.」

Michael: 「He escaped?」

Feldway: 「No. He was dealt with as promised, but I couldn't afford to hold back with the circumstances at the time.」

Michael: 「He really put you under pressure. That's a first. But even more surprising is the fact that you still dealt with him as promised. How so?」

Feldway: 「Heh. It was costly, but it did the job anyway.」

To this, Michael simply nodded.

Feldway began to regale Michael on the events that took place during their battle.

After receiving the details, a look of astonishment captured Michael's facial expression.

Michael: 「He is that strong? I expected as much. Even so, it's unsettling to hear it from you.

Judging from your experience with him, I can say that he really put you on edge.」

To this, Feldway simply nodded.

The harsh words that Sariel filled his mind with made him almost lose it.

He had made a great effort to control his emotions at that point in time.

He knew of the law wrapped around spiritual life-forms, but even with that, he couldn't just dismiss the harsh comments that were lain.

Even with the odds in their favor, Sariel still found a way to get to him.

Michael: 「I'm highly pleased that he has been disposed of, but you seem to be contemplating something, no?」

Michael realized his friend's discomfort and wanted to know the reason.

Feldway: 「You know how we primordials are immortal, right?」

Michael: 「I see. That would be a problem if it came down to that, but we could simply wait to see the results.」

With a simple glance, he understood the situation and even provided an optimal suggestion.

It would hinder their plans-yes, but the benefits were greater than the demerits.

But even so, Feldway was unsure.

Feldway: 「Will that be wise? You do know of his demons. They could very well rampage around due to the absence of their master.」

Michael: 「We'll crush them. Nothing more, nothing less.」

Michael spoke with a tone that suggested unwavering confidence.

It was simple. The whole scenario was already laid out in clear details.

Feldway had long considered the option decimating the millions of demons under Sariel's control.

In factn he had already attempted such in the past, but his plans were, as usual, interfered with by the Black King Noir.

Matters only became worse when Sariel himself showed up, and the odds of success were thinned out.

With the situation at the time, the only option to look to was clear. He had to retreat.

Even now, he was sure that he would be intercepted, but with Michael on his side, there was no room for doubt or concern.

He had unwavering trust in his benefactor, so without hesitation, he agreed with the idea readily.

Feldway: 「I see... What of the Silverion Empire? They may as well be considered a political threat.」

Michael: 「...I failed to deal damage to their domain.」

Feldway: 「You put it like that, but there must be more to that simple statement.」

Michael, feeling his friend's deep gaze fixated on him, raised his hands in mock surrender.

Michael: 「Alright, fine. I'll let up.... Truth is, I was intercepted; at the worst possible moment at that.」

Feldway: 「Oh? Which fool dared to cross your path?」

Michael: 「A brat going by the name, Chloe. A self-proclaimed hero. She was no joke. Her perfectly timed assault only proved so.

For a progenitor demon to have a type of relationship with a hero, he truly is unpredictable.」

Feldway: 「Right? Now that I remember, he wasn't even fazed by my 『Ultimate Dominion』skill.

That's just absurd! The information was accurate but was still rendered useless!! How is he immune to my control!?!

Did I miss something? I'm sure of it. There's nothing missing. Why is he so unreasonable?」

Michael: 「~? That's...!!!」

It was by then that the realization struck him.

Michael: 「H-How did I miss something so crucial?」

Feldway: 「Hm? What now? Is it more bullshit about him? Save it. I don't wanna hear it.

I'm already under stage four depression, so please spare me the trauma.」

Michael: 「Sariel has information on all virtue skill series.」

Feldway: : 「Nice. Just what I needed to hear. *Sigh* Let me guess, Veldanava-sama?」

Michael: 「Yes... but how did you know?」

Feldway: 「Veldanava-sama is the only one with the information on all seven of them.

It wouldn't strike me as unusual for Veldanava-sama to share such information with the demon.

Though, I am curious about how you knew of it.」

Michael: 「At the time, I was still with Veldanava-sama.

Just before exchanging me with 『Uriel』, he had given the information to Sariel as compensation for something.」

Feldway: 「Now it's a big issue. We don't even know who the owners of the other virtue series skills are, but he already has detailed information on then all. *Sigh*」

Now, Feldway regretted doing away with him without extracting such valuable information from him.

Just then-

「(Don't be foolish. Have you already forgotten about my existence?)」

A cold voice sounded out, and both seemed surprise for a while.

Feldway: 「Hm? Ah, right.」

Then, Feldway remembered. The sole mysterious ally who had assisted him and helped in disposing Sariel.

He outstretched his hand forward, a gesture that proposed that something unnatural was going to occur.

Just then, a rainbow colored light appeared on his palm, shining brightly whilst illuminating the whole space.

Once the light dimmed, an energy mass could be seen floating right above Feldway's palm.

Michael: 「Feldway. What is that? That power... it reminds me of...」

Feldway: 「--Yes. You're probably right. Hmm. It's unmistakable.」

They pondered over the appearance of this new entity.

Being able to maintain their spiritual form in this material plane only meant that this entity had transcended physicality and spirituality altogether.

This was not something that could happen randomly.

Even Feldway was bound to the law, so this entity had to be some big shot.

They continued staring at this entity for an uncomfortable amount of time, deep in thought.

Due to this, they suddenly spoke up.

「(Whilst you ogle like fools, I'll tell you this; if you try anything funny, know that you'll have a whole lot of problems to deal with.)」

Feldway: 「.... Michael.」

Michael: 「No. Killing it would only lessen our chances of success.」

Feldway: 「Agreed. *Sigh* Fine. But I won't promise anything.」

Michael just stared blankly at Feldway before moving his attention to the mysterious entity.

Michael: 「(You claim to have shared information on all the virtue series skills, right?)」

「(Precisely.)」

Michael: 「(What are your conditions?」

「Hmm, good. Straight to the point, eh? All I need is freedom.)」

Feldway: 「(Freedom, hm? You should understand that there is a level of freedom you can ask for.)」

「(Obviously, that should not be a cause for concern. As long as I am free to do as I please, nothing more is needed, no?)」

Michael: 「(I see. You'd have to do your part first, you know? We will provide you with a physical form. This would prove beneficial to both parties.)」

「(Yes.)」

Feldway: 「(Good. But a note of warning; if you turn out to be fraudulent and the information received is faux, then you won't have a merciful death.)」

「(Once again, your concern is unnecessary.)」

Michael: 「(Great then. The intricate details would be sorted out later. Let's restrategize for the time being.)」

The sentiment was shared, and so, the rest of the negotiations went on smoothly.

◇◇◇

I opened my shut eyes in a daze.

I'm pretty sure I was busy kicking ass.

Who's ass? Ah, yes! Feldway! The bastard did some sneaky move.

Well, it was me being careless, I guess.

You can't blame me, though.

I mean, one moment I was fighting for the title, the other, I was being torn from within.

What the heck was that!?

Something was forcefully pulled out of me.

I did not feel like it belonged to me, but it's still disturbing to find out that some pesky parasite was rooted within me.

I don't know what that was, but Feldway seemed to be acquainted with them.

That sneaky bastard...

Either way, there's no use being a sore loser.

To be frank, he completely caught me off guard. I mean, 『Justice King: Michael』 was a skill I never expected him to have.

Who would? He had never been the "skillful person". Even with that, I never let my guard down.

Though, he did overpower me. I was in a state where I shouldn't even be in.

Fighting in a mindless state. It was reckless but surprisingly effective.

I regained my senses at some point in the battle, but that didn't seem to be enough.

I guess it was stupid of me to seek the strongest without being able to handle my comrades[1].

I'll need to get stronger for that matter.

I have no idea of the identity of that entity.

I don't know how Feldway got to know them.

Hell, I don't even know where I'm at.

Do I even know who I am? I'm going crazy. Yes. I gotta stay focused.

I can't lose my cool because of that birdman. Wait, it's Feldway!

*Sigh*

If I recall correctly, my math teacher always told me to count prime numbers at times like these.

That would be the most rational course of action, no?

Alright, here I go; 1, 2, 3,... , 4? Wait, something's wrong...

Uwawawawah!!! One is not a prime number!!

Shit, I've forgotten what happened!!

But, but... I...

Ugh! Who cares about that!?!

All I need to do is stay calm. That's not really hard, is it?

Yes. But aren't I in trouble?

I mean, I don't think I'm dead, but I can't sense anything either.

Am I in a state of coma?

No. I don't think so. In fact, I feel better than ever.

I mean, no pain, no discomfort, not even thermal change.

Well, that's a given considering my abilities.

Actually, if you look at it from my perspective, I could consider myself the safest in the world.

I don't sense anyone or anything.

Wait, can I sense at all? Mah~, that's beyond me.

Now that I think of it, Feldway performed some kind of art involving space and time, right?

And that weird thing's plan was to disrupt my forte as soon as his preparations were set.

But there's still one mystery:

Who is that mysterious individual?

Was this all their doing? Or was it Feldway's?

I think Feldway would be the most likely perpetrator.

If that's the case, when did that happen?

I don't think there was an instance where he succeeded in implanting such a being within me.

Great, I don't even know what's going on again.

But, I must say, if Feldway hadn't put up such a sneaky move, I wouldn't even see him as an opponent in that split body of his.

I guess he had planned two or three steps ahead for me.

Am I that much of a threat? Nah, I don't think so.

But even upon that, what business did the bastard have against my dear Raziel-san, eh?

Hmm, Raziel-san...

Wait, Raziel-san!! Are you there!?!

「Yes...」

Ah~, thank goodness! Come out and give me a hug! I was so worried about you, you know?

I lost my cool for a while there. Don't I deserve some form of consolation?

「I can not carry out such an order.」

Right? That was unreasonable of me. Either way, I'm just glad to have you back.

「....」

Well, since you're here, do you mind answering a few questions of mine?

「No.」

Good. I feel like here, I have all the time in the world. Literally.

Now, where in the flipping shit of hell am I?

「... Understood. From my understanding, we can call this unknown place the "End of Time and Space," an empty world where time has stopped and the expansion of space has ceased.」

You say from your understanding. You're not exactly sure of the details, huh?

「... Yes.」

Certainly, time has ceased, or rather, it doesn't even exist anymore.

It all depends on the choice of words, really.

I don't even feel like I'm occupying space for that matter.

Well, it seems like I'm still in the already expanded space or something; I'm not really sure, though.

This looks like a void of the sort if you think of it.

Does that mean the world has reached nothing? I don't think I need an answer for that.

But how? Who destroyed the world? I could take a wild guess, but that doesn't seem to be acceptable for now.

Did everything arrive at extinction? Or was this caused by someone?

Wait, shouldn't I be panicking? I can't bring myself to worry at this point.

But why does it feel so void? Meh? I'll figure that out later.

But now, what next do I ask of?

Ah, right. Were you conscious of this?

「Yes. We were sent beyond space-time in accordance with Feldway's wish. The planet's lifespan seemed to have ended like you suspected, but the collapse of the world had not yet been reached.

I don't know the specifics, but I can deduce that the individual responsible must have reached the end of their lifespan. The being must have died from the point where they destroyed the celestial bodies along with the space-time continuum.」

W-Wow. Is this how it ends without Veldanava? That's frightening.

What else happened?

「As that happened, in your unconscious state, we drifted within or through space, and it was then that it happened.」

What happened?

「The universe ended.」

... R-Really?

「Yes...」

I see. That means everyone must have died, huh?

Great. Taking those close to me was not enough? Haven't I already lost enough?

To make matters worse, the universe died.

I won't be able to do a thing about it.

Why can't I live in peace?

What's the point of making friends only to lose them?

I was cast out of the world, and it was only the beginning.

I didn't even think of such a thing happening. The collapse of a world favored by the God Veldanava.

Even upon that, he didn't return? Does this mean that he can't be revived?

Doesn't that put sand and spit onto Feldway's plans?

Thinking of it, it won't strike me as unusual for Feldway to destroy the world for the revival of his beloved God.

He might try to use that as bait. That wouldn't be a shocker, you know?

He has always been so senseless.

But, how did I survive such a phenomenon?

「Before your death, your "true body" was forcefully ejected out of the soul dimension.」

Why? Was this the doing of that mysterious individual?

「Incorrect. Whilst that individual did attempt to use that body as a medium for escape, they failed to do so due to its isolation.」

Wow. They even went ahead to hunt my body down. How thoughtful...

「As that happened, your "original" body was destroyed completely without a trace.」

Hmm, something's not adding up. If that happened, how am I alive?

「Your soul was transferred to your true body. Going by the definition of your skill, it would only activate once the user dies (physically).

Once that happened, your soul would be transferred to the body that is being stored in the『Soul World』.

The body can then be released from the『Soul World』if the user wishes to do so.

But with the circumstance at the time, that body was forcefully ejected from your dimension by using magic.」

Eh? But why, though? Wasn't that dangerous?

I mean, I would still be revived... Ah, I see. The laws had long collapsed.

So, after my soul was transferred to the true body, the original body collapsed.

What a shame, what a waste.

It seems my current body was able to resist the universal collapse.

How durable of a body I have. It looks like the old man saves the day once again!

But it would've ultimately been a waste if not for Raziel-san.

I really lucked out on having her. While I was as busy as a dead potato, she was already working hard for my survival.

She really is the best. Thanks a lot, Raziel-san!!

「Your praises are undeserved.」

Hm? Why do you say so?

「It was only natural as an emergency situation arrived, and I could not allow you to die because of my incompetence.」

Ah, the usual inferiority complex. You seriously need to get rid of that.

I know I mentioned accepting your emotions, but do away with those that restrain you.

「The inferiority complex was a character derived from you.」

Yeah, but I've managed to keep that under control.

I don't need that feeling to hold you back.

You are talking as if you're as useless as I am.

You clearly saved my life just now, or then? Whatever-you get the point! The time is irrelevant.

If not for your competence, I would've been with Veldanava by now.

Would I have preference it that way?

「If I were not so incompetent, you wouldn't need to go through such danger.」

You can't solve everything, Raziel-san. Baby steps.

All you need to do is never repeat a grave mistake once it is made.

Making a mistake is a good part of life because it gives you experience.

Once you make it, you apologize and never make it happen again.

If you don't make mistakes, then how will you learn and acquire wisdom, the concept you embody?

「I-I don't know...」

See? You could seek wisdom, but that wouldn't be enough.

Besides, not everyone would freely grant you the wisdom you need, and no one can grant you satisfactory wisdom.

It is also part of the stages of the broad concepts of life.

I know for a fact that I blame life for everything that happens, but it won't stop me from trying to make things work.

I'm not really the smartest or brightest of them all, but I can tell you this: Mistakes are meant to be made.

Once they are made, they are meant to teach you a lesson.

If you manage to learn your lesson and move on, you're the genius.

If you refuse to accept things as they are and dwell in the mistake, you're the fool.

That is what I believe in.

I don't really think this whole situation is your fault, and even if it was, I will never hate you for it.

The number of times you have saved me goes beyond the number of mistakes you have made.

This alone makes you the smartest person in the book.

When you come to that, I can never really blame you for anything.

「I see...」

Good. I just want you to take it easy on yourself because I will never blame you for anything.

Well, I will blame you for some stupid reasons, but it is never truly deep or anything, you know?

So please relax, okay?

「Understood. Sorry...」

*Sigh* You're a handful. I just told you to relax...

I knew that even with my words, this skill of mine is as stubborn as me.

Thinking so, I decided to shift to a topic totally unrelated to what we were discussing.

It was all to steer her thoughts away from self-blame.

Hey, I remember you saying that the word "Argent" wasn't a name but a title serving as a reference due to my nameless state at the time, right?

「Yes?」

She seemed to be confused with this.

I mean, it didn't even make sense.

She had already calculated it deeply, but no matter the number of times she did, the result had nothing to do with our current situation.

A being guided purely by precise calculations and deductions, I can't have that now, can I?

Emotions could make you irrational, but they could also make you the strongest out there.

The pure, untouched product of the "will" was emotion.

This meant that one's emotion represented and spoke for their will and viceversa.

She needed to freely live with her emotions without restraining herself.

It's really tiring to see her try so hard to seal her emotions due to the misconception she made up.

She wanted to know what brought out the sudden change in thought, so she inquired.

「Why do you ask?」

Doesn't that also mean that the word "Raziel" is a title but not a name?

「Precisely.」

But my reasoning was far from her expectations.

「The same applies to the other primordial demons and ultimate skills.」

Then why didn't you tell me!?!?

「???」

You know, I went about naming other demons, but I never did the same for the one person who has been with me since the very beginning of my journey!!

That's beyond rude!

「I don't get what you mean.」

Don't play dumb!! Why do you even think I have an identity!?

It was because of you damn it! Don't you get it?

「....???」

Who gave me the wonderful name "Sariel?"

「.... I did.」

See!!?

「But it was by your command.」

Oh? So you wanna play stubborn now, eh?

Fine. Good. I get it. Get ready because you're about to receive an identity of your own.

「.....!!!」

If I'm coming up with a name, it's gotta be flashy. Okay, not too flashy, but cool.

A name pertaining to her nature.

Yes! I've got the perfect name for you!!

With that, I opened my mouth to declare to the world.

Sariel: 「Henceforth, you're no longer called Raziel. You will now go by the name, "Reina." I'm not really the best of namers, so please desl with it for the moment.」

As I declared with pride, a huge change occurred. One that I never expected.

This was the type of change I rarely experienced during evolution.

A strange, overwhelming sensation was felt, shaking my core ever so lightly.

A flurry of emotions that did not belong to me rushed in.

And lastly, a big change was made within my soul.

As that all occurred, I remained silent and observed it carefully.

I had no idea what was going on, so I didn't want to ruin the mood with a foolish statement.

Thinking so, I watched this change go on.

It all went as quickly as it arrived. I had to inquire about it.

Hm? What was that just now? What happened?

「There is no need for concern. I was only undergoing an evolution. It was all possible thanks to Sariel-sama's benevolence. I deeply thank you, my lord.」

Evolution? But aren't you already an ultimate skill? Is there another level beyond ultimate skills?

That would be cool.

「I do not know about the level beyond ultimate skills, but I am now simply known as a Manas.

A being embodying the concept of divine wisdom possessed only by God.

The one meant to be the guardian and assistant of Sariel-sama for as long as he wishes. Please take good care of me.」

Hehehe~. Sure, I will. I'm already liking this side of you.

And is it just me, or do you speak more fluently now?

「It-」

--Is just an auditory illusion. I get it.

「....」

But a Manas? Haven't I heard this term before?

「Yes you have, my lord. Manas are a type of ultimate life-form that follows an unorthodoxed evolutionary path.

They don't follow the same method of evolution of Spiritual Lifeforms, but rather existing as a core of pure thoughts, lacking the ability to influence the world through the power of will alone.」

Eh? Ayo!! I remember, yes! Veldanava told me about it!!

I can't believe it. Reina is actually a Manas now.

I kinda used to see them as really powerful and dangerous entities that should not be messed with.

I mean, think of it deeply.

It took me millions of years to finally be able to manipulate infons, but they would be able to do so right upon birth.

It is also important to note that information particle manipulation is an ultimate class ability.

This is a detrimental skill that changes one's threat level entirely.

No wonder they are considered the "ultimate life-forms."

Their existence is something so rare; millions of years would have passed, and one would still not be recognized.

But I am now in possession of one of those. Truly, I'm not all that hopeless.

But there seems to be more about Manas than I thought.

「Yes. They have the innate ability to freely manipulate infons and exist purely in information form.」

Hm? They exist in information form? That's frightening.

I mean, we spiritual life forms would naturally perish upon the collapse of the soul.

But they're different. They don't even need a soul.

They have their own different life core.

Souls are made up of infons, but if you look at the definition of Manas, then you could say that they have also transcended the spiritual realm entirely.

I mean, the law of spirituality hinders any being without a soul.

It is simple: you can not exist without the soul.

But a Manas exists in the state that makes up a soul, meaning they have no need for souls.

They consider information their souls.

If my deduction serves me right, that means one would have to be a digital life-form (information life-form) to be able to truly kill a Manas.

That's the same requirement needed to become a full-fledged citizen of the "stopped world".

Not just anyone can become a digital life-form. It has never been easy to become one.

Firstly, one would need to be aware of the art 『Time Stop』.

For all I know, only Velzard uses that art.

Perhaps if Guy were to use his ultimate skill to copy her skill, then he may also be able to do so.

Apart from them, I've not encountered anyone capable of doing so. Even after millions of years.

Hence, I can boldly say that it is a really rare technique.

No one would also like to reveal such an art, so there is only that much of a chance for a random person to know of its existence.

All this leads to my belief that there are just up to five digital life forms[2] currently in the world, and Reina is now part of the family.

Now that I think of it, Sage-san did make a promise of how she'd make an ultimate life-form.

I didn't think she'd be serious about the ultimate life-form thing.

You really impress me, Reina-san!

I mean, you're now an ultimate life-form.

「I never wished to become an ultimate life-form. I made it clear that I would never stop until you become an ultimate life-form.

But in the end, I went ahead to become one before you. How disrespectful of me. Such insults shall not be condoned!」

No, no, no!! That's okay! I don't mind anyway! We can even break that promise if anything, so-

「Nonsense, I will have to disagree there, Sariel-sama. In fact, I have decided.

I will not only make you become an ultimate life-form-no, I'll rather go further-yes, beyond!

By the time I am done with you, you would be a God. Umu.」

I... I see... In the end, I am still your guinea pig...

「There is no escaping your fate. And please do not use that term for your magnificent self!」

*Sigh* Right...

But besides all that, I have been ignoring one major problem for long enough.

How the hell do I get out of here?

All this celebration for nothing. If I don't do something, all this improvement would be for naught.

Did you really forget about our current problem? All this pride and happiness for nothing.

Wouldn't it be better to use this time to find a solution than to brag about your importance?

「Ugh! You believe in me that much. I feel wronged. Of course, there is a solution.」

Ah, good, good. That is the partner I know and love.

The one who would find a solution faster than I began to think of asking.

It seems I heavily underestimated your capabilities once more. Forgive me, Reina-san.

「Hmph!」

Hehehe. If you forgive me, I'll allow you to perform alterations on my skills.

「!!!」

Ha! Hook, line, and sinker. The fish has been caught, my folks.

「F-Fine. I'll only forgive you this once. It's only because you kept on bugging me. Don't get ahead of yourself.」

Wow. Tsundere found. Now it's left with a yandere.

「.... Hmph!」

Hehe. Let's put that aside for now. We have a world to return to.

But I must give you a warning, when we get back, we have a whole lot of Q&A's to do.

「.... Understood.」

Good. As for Kalisha, I won't stress her out. When she feels like speaking, then I'll hear her out.

Kalisha: 「.... *Sigh*」

「You don't need to worry. I am the cause for all the trouble. That is why I will learn from my previous mistakes and improve my skills and responses, striving for more appropriate results.」

Wow. She has already learned her lesson. She really is a fast learner, unlike me. I feel dumb...

Well, let's put that aside. How do you intend to get me back-no, how do you get the universe back?

「It's not about getting the universe back, but by using your abilities to transcend time and space momentarily to reach the desired location.」

Hm? Can I really do something like that?

I mean, transcending space-time isn't particularly as easy as you put it.

「That shouldn't be a problem.」

I don't exactly get how. Explain.

「Your ability 『Dimension Leap』 allows the user to transcend space-time by freely locating and traveling to a location, making it possible to travel to different dimensions or worlds as long as there's a connection to that dimension.」

Oh! That's right! I remember that being a subskill of that op ability,『Space-Time Administrator』, right!?!

「Yes.」

But there is a problem. Is there a connection to that world?

We could use the soul corridors I formed with my subordinates.

「That would've been an excellent suggestion. Unfortunately, the millions of connections you formed were cut for safety measures.」

Hm. That's right. I don't want my problem affecting them in any way.

That's another job well done, Reina-san. You're so dependable.

「Your praise is unneeded. It is my duty to ensure that your desires are well and swiftly met.」

W-Wow. That's a yandere line, you know? Should I be worried?

「Does that bother you?」

Well, forget that. How do you plan for me to return with no connection to the cardinal world.

「Here's a breakdown of what I mean.

The reason why the ability 『Dimension Leap』requires a connection to allow the user to travel to other dimensions is because the coordinates of that new dimension are unknown.

Once the user possesses the coordinates of the dimension they wish to travel to, a connection would no longer be required.

In fact, the coordinates could be considered the connection required to travel freely.」

Wow. I definitely have a coordinate to the Jura Forest!!

Great-perfect, in fact!!

This could also change everything!!

Ah~, Reina-san, you truly are an angel.

「Correction, I am a Manas. A theosophy nucleus with-」

Yaaaaada, yada!! I was just being appreciative-thank you very much! Hmph!

「.... Cute.」

Oooooii!! What was that!?! What did you just let up!?!

「The master is the most beautiful being beyond space-time.」

I.... let's pretend as if this never happened, deal?

「Deal!」

Good. Now, I'll trust you to get me to the desired location, no?

「You can count on me!」

Nice. Let's get it over with. I can't wait to kick some ass!!

After giving the order, a white light enveloped my whole body as the sensation of being transferred to another dimension was felt.

This isn't a place where I'd like to settle down and discuss life.

After I'm done with this whole situation, a deep and intense character investigation will take place.

I had initially thought of Kalisha as the mysterious individual, but it seems that theory requires reevaluation.

Overall, I'm glad I wasn't betrayed but was left in the dark.

Now, I can finally go back to deal with Feldway.

「Note: Hey, guys. Another boring chapter by yours truly has been released. The space-time nonsense was discussed, and some clouded events from the previous chapter were cleared.

Honestly, at some point, I felt my writing spirit take over, and the nonsense came by naturally.

I know I promised some of my precious readers that I'd reveal the identity of the mysterious nee-san, but I just couldn't stop yapping. I mean, I'm so good at yapping; my teacher always took me out of the class to get a break from me.

I mean, at some point, I started yapping, and the yapping began to make sense, and before I knew it, the yapping evolved! Literally!!

Sorry if you were really looking forward to the history behind the mysterious nee-san, but it seems like that will have to wait for the next chapter.

I'll probably procrastinate in the next chapter like I did today (jkl)<---[Hallelujah, if you know what this means].

Well, the second Manas in history was born, and it turned out to be Raziel-san. Who didn't expect it?

Some crazy events were explained and stuff, making this wonderful chapter you see here.

Also, It's just me being a talkative all to increase the word count as usual. Nothing new.

Well, this brings us to the end of my yapping. If you enjoyed my approximately six thousand word yapping count, please make sure to smash your devices with the most beautiful smile you've ever put up. (I did say that I will be yapping a lot).

Thanks for reading my work, and I hope you see my story through to the end. See ya!!」
