"I'm surprised. Don't you want to win Chase?" Isaac asked, his eyes locked on the screen as he leaned back into the couch, gaming controller in hand.
Talia arched a brow, baffled by the question. "Why would I want that brat? I had to practically see him every day for ninety-five percent of my life," she said with a scoff, shaking her head at the mere idea.
Isaac chuckled, his smile growing. "Still, he's the prize. Thought you'd be in the race."
Talia snorted. "Please. If you were the prize, I might've joined in." She sent him a teasing grin.
Isaac's face turned red, and for a brief second, he felt a rush of warmth. But that feeling was shattered when Talia finished him off in the fighting game.
"Rematch! You cheated," he exclaimed, bitterly watching the "KO" animation.
Talia giggled. "You just suck."
Suddenly, Aurora burst into the room, glaring. "Uncle Isaac! Not fair! Big brother already has to spend time with his wives and now you're taking Talia too?!"
