The moment Cain stabbed Abel with the tree branch, he didn't stop. Again and again, he kept going, until Abel's body turned pale and lifeless. His wide eyes lost all light, and as his blood soaked into the soil, something terrifying happened. The land—Cain's farmland, everything he had worked so hard to grow—started to wither and die. The earth itself shook, as if crying out in pain.

Feeling this unnatural change, Adam, Eve, Amelika, and Azura rushed to see what was happening. But before they could react, the sky ripped open. A blinding light poured through, and Adam and Eve instantly recognized it. They had seen this light before.

It was him.

Descending from the sky in his radiant humanoid form was none other than their father—Almighty God. His presence was overwhelming, filling the air with divine energy. He landed before them, his gaze calm yet heavy with judgment.

"Father?!" Adam called out, surprised but happy to see him. Eve felt the same, relief washing over her. But Azura and Amelika were confused—they had never seen their father like this before.

"Where is Cain?" God asked, his voice steady and firm.

Adam blinked, confused. "What do you mean, Father? He should be here somewhere—"

But before he could finish, Almighty God snapped his fingers. Instantly, Cain appeared before them, teleported by divine power.

Adam smiled at first, thinking everything was fine. He and Eve had no idea what had just happened. They didn't know what Amelika and Azura had seen.

But Cain... Cain knew.

The moment he stood before God, his hands still stained with his brother's blood, the weight of his actions hit him. His body trembled. His mind screamed.

Because now, he finally understood what he had done.

Seeing Cain like that—shaking, unable to speak—Azura, Emrica, Eve, and even Adam were taken aback. The air felt heavy, something was clearly wrong.

Adam hesitated for a moment, then spoke. "Uh... Cain, this is your mother. And this... is my father. The Creator of everything."

Hearing that, Emrika and Azura's eyes widened. It finally clicked—they understood who this person was. Their Grandfather.

God turned his gaze towards Cain. His voice was calm but carried undeniable authority. "Adam, you asked where Abel is. Ask him."

A strange, cold feeling crept over Adam, Azura, Emrika, and Eve. Something was off. Something was very wrong.

Adam turned to Cain. "Cain... where is your brother, Abel?" His voice was steady but laced with worry.

Cain said nothing. He just stood there, frozen in shock, trembling.

Seeing this, Adam stepped closer, grabbing his son by the shoulders. His grip tightened. "Cain, answer me! Where is Abel?"

Still, Cain didn't speak. He couldn't.

Then, Almighty God spoke. "Let me tell you."

Everyone's eyes turned to him. The silence was deafening.

"He killed Abel. Cain killed his own brother."

"Abel is with me now, in the Third Heaven, in the Garden of Eden."

A deep, crushing silence followed.

Adam and Eve stood in shock. They knew what "killed" meant. They understood the weight of those words.

But Azura and Emrika? They didn't understand. Not yet. They had never known what "death" was.

But they were about to learn.

Hearing this, Emrica and Azura turned to their parents, confusion clear on their faces.

"Mother, Father... what does it mean to be killed? What is death?" they asked.

Eve couldn't hold back her tears. She covered her mouth, sobbing. Adam, standing still, stared at Cain with no emotion—he didn't know what to say. Instead, he just pulled Eve into a hug.

Then, with a heavy heart, Adam spoke. "It means... your brother will never come back to this world again. He is gone."

His voice broke at the end. He couldn't hold back anymore. Tears streamed down his face.

Emrika and Azura turned toward Cain, their expressions shifting. Their once-loving gazes filled with something Cain had never seen from them before—disgust.

"You..." Emrika whispered, her body trembling. "You killed him... You killed big brother Abel!"

Azura was silent at first, her lips quivering. But then, as if her mind finally processed what happened, she screamed in denial. "No! This isn't real! Abel can't be gone!"

Eve, still crying, fell to the ground, gripping the grass where Abel had once stood. Her hands clenched the earth tightly as she sobbed.

"My son... my Abel... I carried you in my arms... and now you're gone..."

Her cries grew louder, filled with pain and heartbreak.

Adam, holding his wife, trembled—not just with grief but with rage. His body shook as he looked at Cain, his eyes dark and unreadable.

Cain could feel it. He could feel the hatred from his sisters. The disappointment from his father. The unbearable sorrow from his mother.

Then, God spoke. His voice was calm, yet filled with undeniable authority.

"Do not despair. Abel is with me, in the Garden of Eden."

At those words, Eve, Adam, Emrika, and Azura let out shaky breaths.

They knew what the Garden of Eden was. Their father had told them stories about it. It was paradise—the place they had once lived before coming to Earth.

If Abel was there... then he must be safe.

Both sisters held onto that hope.

One day... they would see him again.

"Why?" Adam asked, his voice trembling.

He wanted to punish his son. He really did. But he knew... nothing would bring Abel back. They could only see Abel again after death. That was the knowledge given to him by his father—Almighty God.

Cain remained silent, refusing to meet Adam's eyes. His body swayed slightly, still feeling the weight of his actions. Emrica and Azura had to holding There Mother Eve giving her their support.

Then, God spoke. His voice was calm, yet absolute.

"Let me tell you why Cain did this."

Everyone turned toward Him.

"Cain believed that I threw you out of Heaven because Eve ate the Fruit of Knowledge."

Adam's eyes widened. "What?!"

That wasn't true at all!

Adam clenched his fists, stepping forward. "Cain! We were not thrown out! We were sent here for a mission—to grow humanity! This land was given to us by our Father, God!" Adam's voice roared with emotion.

God nodded. "Yes. That is the truth."

Cain's eyes slowly widened. His entire life, he believed they had been cast out, that his parents had failed. That because of them, he had to suffer outside of Eden.

But now…

"If I had truly cast them out, then why would I allow Abel to live in the Garden of Eden?" God continued. "This was a test. I gave you this Earth—with all its mysteries, its hidden wonders, and the fruits you have grown."

God's voice became even firmer. "I gave you everything. And yet, you still wanted Eden. Fine then. I will take it away from you for a long, long time."

Cain's breath hitched as he felt something change in the air.

"As the Almighty God, the Creator of Everything, I extend your life. You will see many generations rise and fall. You will see your loved ones die before your eyes. You will form bonds… only to watch them fade away."

God's words felt like a divine decree—unchangeable, absolute.

Cain trembled.

"You will have a long life on this Earth. But eventually, even you will die. For everyone born in this world carries death with them. You shall live for years to come more, so that you may understand what it means to lose everything."

Cain's breathing grew erratic.  years… of suffering? Of watching everything disappear?

"Now, be gone."

With a snap of God's fingers—

Cain vanished.

Banished to the farthest corner of the Earth—far beyond where any of them could reach. In the Cardinal Earth of DxD.
