After a few more parent interactions with Aizawa I was finally dropped off back at the dorms, once I made my way back up I looked around the nice quiet interior living space with a sigh, 'It's never going to be this quiet again, is it? 'You wish!'. With that dreadful thought I went back to my room and moved a few things around before going to bed early to let my brain digest the meetings I had with Katsumi and Momo's parents.
Waking up early the next day I woke up to the sound of voices, mental and vocal arguing and several sets of feet moving things around. Already knowing who was there I calmly walked into the living room to find Momo and Katsumi arguing about something pointless as a few well dressed men moved things around, "They get permission to be here?" I ask interrupting them as they notice me. "Oh, good morning Carter! Yes Nezu is aware of their presence and has allowed them to be here to help me get situated into my accommodations." Momo said as Katsumi flipped me off, "Good morning to you too." I say to her before going to the fridge, 'fuck I ate it all.' I think as I open up the bare fridge. "I'm going to the store, be back eventually." I tell them as I walk over to a window and jump out, "CARTER!" I hear them scream before I flex my wings and glide down, landing safe and walking towards the gate of the school as Momo and Katsumi remember about me having wings.
Reaching the small grocery store near my old apartment I grab a few things before deciding to buy specifics online. Paying for everything I step out and see quite a few people staring at me and pointing, as well as a few heroes that weren't there when I entered the store, 'KILL THEM, HOW DARE THEY FOLLOW ME', ignoring that I calmly spread my wings and take off for UA not wanting to get mobbed by the press or and one else trying to get to me since I have yet to appear and answer any question since taking down All for One, not that I even have to explain myself to these little worms.
Making it back to the school I watch Momo's men leave with a few boxes and deciding to be somewhat normal I take the elevator up to the common area. Stepping in I see Katsumi sprawled out on the couch watching TV as Momo tries to give her a lecture about being more 'ladylike' good luck with that though. "I'm back." I say as they glare at me, "Why did you jump out of that window." Momo demands as sparks erupt from Katsumi's palms, flicking my wings open i give them a 'duh' face as they sheepishly realize that my wings are bigger than I am, I just keep them tucked in all the time. Storing my food Momo walks over, "The news is still going crazy about what you did to AFO." she says and I shrug 'not my problem.' closing the fridge I take the rest of the food and start storing it in the pantry "Most heroes would have already given a press statement, I'm sure plenty have reached out to you looking for an interview." she leaves the question unspoken as Katsumi looks over interested as well, "Who said I'm a hero?" I ask looking her in the eye and she pauses, 'He's never declared that he would become a hero.' she realized as he walked to his room.
'Great now I have that to deal with.' I grumbled as I changed into workout clothes, as I changed my phone started vibrating, seeing that it was Abby that had called I picked up and we talked as I left my room and went downstairs. "You got all the news stations riled up over here in the states, even John knows." she giggled as I started my run, "Oh is he finally done with basic?" "Yeah he just finished, we were actually going to go to Japan and visit you since my school has a break coming up." "Awesome I'll be sure to show you guys around, this country isn't half bad." they talked for a bit longer until she had to go to sleep and I continued with my workout.
As I ran back to the dorms I sensed a few more people in the living room, reaching it I found Ida and Momo excitedly talking about something, 'Not gonna happen' I think as they see me enter but I make a mad dash for my room before they can say anything. With nothing else to do Carter turns on his PC and starts streaming, after a few matches he finally get paired with a decent team mate, 'Explosion Queen, no points for guessing who that is.' I think as we dominate the other team. Speaking of steaming, since people saw what he did to AFO, his stream had blown up and he got a steady flow of small cash that he didn't really need, but money was money so he continued streaming despite knowing that at least one government agency was watching his stream.
As the night dragged on I eventually got hungry, leaving my room I reached the kitchen the same time as Katsumi who was rooting around the pantry. "Are you explosion queen?" I asked and her head snapped to me "The hell are you talking about?" she demanded as her pulse quickened, "I know its you, we've been paired the last few games, you're not too bad." I tell her as she mumbles a quiet thanks as I open the fridge and take out a few ingredients, "Food?" I ask "Hell yeah." she says as we get to work. As we cook Momo,Ida and Shoto of all people stumble their way into the kitchen to find us cooking. "Why am I even surprised it's you two cooking this late." Momo mumbles as I glance at the clock, "It's only midnight, still plenty of time to sleep." I say as I hand Katsumi her portion. As we dig in with gusto, the trio just looks at us eating like ravenous wolves as they try and comprehend what is happening before them, seeing them staring at the food Katsumi pauses "If you're hungry go make your own damn food!" she snarls as she digs in as Momo turns to me with puppy eyes, "Touch my food and I'll rip your spine out." I growl as she holds her hands up in surrender and slowly backs up, following her example Ida and Shoto go back to sleep as even Katsumi scoots a bit further away from me eyeing me warily.
After that whole fiasco though, things go back to relative normal. I wake up and make breakfast then go workout, sometimes Katsumi or Shoto will join me though not often as more and more of the class start to move into the dorms. Even All Might and Nezu stop by and say hi as he finally gets discharged from the hospital, he kept trying to thank me but after the 6th time I threw a pillow in his face just like I did with Izuku when he starts mumbling. I did enjoy it when Aizawa stopped by once after everyone had gotten moved in, he didn't explain but we all knew what he meant, "If you wouldn't do it with, me, the rest of the UA faculty and the rest of the class watching, you will NOT be doing it in the dorms." he says giving a few kids a glare, even me surprisingly as he stalks back out. Beyond that things are slowly getting back to normal' I think not realizing just how bad of a red flag I had set off.
