Yoru's fingers brushed along Rinchan's cheek, his touch feather-light but full of meaning. Her face was warm, her breath uneven, and her green eyes shimmered with emotion as she gazed into his lavender ones.
"Rinchan," he murmured, his voice low and rich, "you're… beautiful. I've always known that. But now, having you this close…"
His thumb gently traced her lower lip, and she leaned into it instinctively, her eyes fluttering. "Yokun…" she whispered, cheeks flushed. "You're not making this easy for me…"
He chuckled softly, the sound curling into her chest. "That's kind of the point."
Rina's lips quivered with a shy smile as she hid her face against his chest. His hand slipped down to her waist, resting just above the curve of her hip, pulling her against him.
"I mean it," he said again, more serious this time. "I've wanted this—us—for so long."
Her heart pounded as she looked up at him again, her fingers gripping the edge of his shirt. "Yokun… what are you saying?"
