While Bai Meiyue dealt with the other three guards, Lei Qian killed the other three guards. He was about to chase after Bai Meiyue when he heard the sound of someone whimpering in pain. Startled, he shifted behind the courtyard wall and peeked past the wall. As soon as he looked from behind the wall, he saw two guards dragging a woman.
His eyes flashed with anger when he saw the actions of the two men and he immediately shot after the two. Even though he didn't know who that woman was, he still wanted to save her. However, just as he chased after the woman, Bai Meiyue pulled him back.
She said to him, "What do you think you are doing?"
Just now she heard the whimpering and moaning of a woman and knew that this man would try to save her. She had no idea why Lei Qian was like this, but it was a good thing that she followed her instincts and came to look for him or else he would have truly jumped in to save that woman.
