"And that's the last thing I remember."
I looked back up at James, wondering how it was I had gotten here. I... died, and yet here I am looking him face to face again.
"It's fine, here's what happened after I lost you."

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!! Damn it..., it was... supposed to be me.... you idiot. You were the one who was supposed to survive... not...me."
I couldn't move, all I could do was sit and watch as the wolf snapped the neck of the only person I could truly trusted.
It hurts... huh it hurts so much to see him like this, how could I be so foolish not to think he would swap places with me. I should've... I should've just backed away the moment I noticed. Maybe... just maybe... I could've been the one to die for his sake.
I watched as the wolf dragged his lifeless body toward me, I continued looking ahead as it seemingly walked passed me without so much as a growl.
That alone filled my heart with rage, how dare you walk past me like I don't exist after I watch you take the life of the one friend I had in this damn disaster they call an operation.
I stood up grabbing a rock from the side of the path, I threw it as hard as I could at the back of the wolf's head. But it didn't even react continuing on toward the front door.
Four other wolves walked past me while the rest of the creatures went back going to hunt whoever was left alive.
Angered by being ignored I grabbed the nearest object near me, that being a metal pole propped up in the dirt of the grass. I walked past the wolves heading towards the one that held him.
With nothing but pain in my heart I didn't care about the repercussions, I pulled back getting ready to swing with all I could that was until the front door opened and a man walked out.
The man wore all black, even his hair and eyes were like that of the darkest depths of the sea. He wore a button up shirt with his sleeves rolled up brandishing the dark tattoos covering his clear skin.
I paused as the wolves stopped in front of him, the one holding Luke dropped him onto the ground and bowed as if presenting an offering to a god.
The man just looked at it, and I could see disgust and anger fill his eyes as he looked from Luke towards it.
The man raised his hand and swung down slapping the wolf as it raised its head to look at him. The wolf was sent flying through the banister of the porch, the wolves behind it reacted in anger.
They growled at the man bearing their fangs, but he ignored them looking at the broken banister were the wolf layed barely breathing.
The man slowly looked towards the other wolves unfazed, the other wolves at first seemed ready to attack until a dark aura started to emit from him. In response a large hellhound the same size as him slowly walked out the door from behind him.
It was a dark wolf like the others except from it's massive size, and it's fur seeming to have molten lava dripping from it. It's eyes were like that of a normal wolf aside from its burning red irises, its teeth were razor sharp as well and had magma dripping off its canines when it opened its mouth.
The wolf looked at the others growling, and beared its fangs. The others showed feared, slowly backing away and bowing their heads in response, not daring to look it in the eyes, less they offend it.
The man knelt down flipping Luke over, now facing the sky, he could see Luke's face. He then put his hands under his body picking him up and carrying him towards the door, only to stop before going in.
"Come Sergeant James Cole, we shall talk inside. Have your fill Furia, we've no need for disobedient mutts."
"Agreed, some lessons cannot be learned with out the proper repercussions."
The wolf's voice was raspy and deep yet held so much weight making my hair stand on end, while the mans voice was calm and soothing as if someone were reading their child a bedtime story. Neither held no anger in their voices or actions, only disappointment and purpose.
"Go ahead Sgt. I'll be in shortly."
This time it was the wolf... no... Furia who spoke to me, I hesitated for a moment but ultimately tossed the pipe in the grass and walked past him following the man inside.
Walking through the door I could hear the sounds of howling behind me as the wolves tried to fight for their lives against a beast greater than them.
I followed him into the house, looking around it looked like any other home. That is until we got into the basement, walking down the room was much bigger than the rest of the house, it seemed as though we walked into a whole other building all together.
There were people locked away in cages some unharmed others bruised and bloody.
These were the people that lived in this town and maybe a few from the neighboring.
But what was more shocking were the two people working on some strange devices and running diagnostic on the data they received.
"Sam, Martha, take him set him on the bed. This is far from how I wanted him to come here but this will have to do. James come with me, you're needed elsewhere."
The man spoke to the two, seeing the body Martha covered her mouth and ran over putting her hands on his face carresing his cheek wiping away the tear he shed. Sam walked over taking Luke's body from the man and placed him on the bed, checking his body for wounds and other injuries.
"But you're, we thought you guys."
I was shocked seeing the parents Luke was so worried about, not only were they alive and well, they were even working with the creatures that were wreaking havoc in this poor town.
"Come along James, you'll have time to talk with them later."
I looked at them as they got to work checking on Luke, but I decided i would get my answers later.
I followed the man towards a room with other prisoners, as I was passing the door to the exit Furia came walking down the stairs.
Coming down he began to change and transform into a human. He wore all black clothing as well, with black hair. His eyes retained their burning red color, and his teeth remained just as sharp. He had a deep scar on his right eye that went up to his eyebrow and down to his upper cheek.
He had dark tattoos as well but they seemed to glow a deep red color as he changed back back to normal.
His clothing was the same style as the other man's except he wore no vest like he did, instead he had only the button down with a few buttons undone at the top.
Furia ran his hands through his hair as he walked towards us, then dusted his clothes off before reaching his hand out to me.
"Time I formally introduce myself James. I am Furia I am what you would call a shifter type."
I shook his hand, not at all understanding what he ment but the guy seemed to be nice, and strong... really strong.
"Shif...ter, what's that sounds like something out of a video game."
"Hmm ok, think of me as like a druid as you call them, except I can only turn into my hellhound form."
"Ok... yeah that makes sense."
"But how is that even possible that's not normal in the slightest."
"Depends on how you define normal, where I'm from it's pretty normal to have shifters although none to my degree or strength, hmm guess that does make me abnormal then huh."
He chuckled at the thought of being different from everyone, but where exactly was this man and these strange abilities come from.
"And, where exactly are you from, if you don't mind me asking.?."
"Well I'm from what you call Hell. Born and raised as a matter of fact."
Did he just.. say Hell!?!? Is that even possible, if so how is he here.
"Gulp I'm sorry... did you say... Hell.?."
"Haha oh don't worry I'm not that bad... anymore, well aside from the fact I can get very carried away in a fight. In fact your little friend over there is the reason I'm the way I am and as strong."
He pointed behind me and following his finger the expression on my face changed when I saw he was pointing at Luke, but why and what did he mean.
