The effect of the rain that had beaten Angel to a pulp, finally began to settle in, as she started to shake.
Ares' eyes opened, and without saying another word, he started the car.
He drove straight to the first boutique he saw, and stopped the car.
The rain had slowed into just a drizzle, making it easier for him to come down, and open Angel's door.
"I noticed you were walking with a limp," he said, as he stood by her door.
"Where are we?" She asked in a haunted, and weak voice.
"Boutique. You're soaking wet."
"Oh."
Without any further conversations, he carried her into the boutique.
Perhaps, it was because of the rain, but it was just the staff present.
He ignored some of their gossip, and walked straight to the first professional looking staff he saw.
"She needs new clothes," he simply said.
"Come with me."
A couple of minutes later, Ares carried her back to the car, after she had changed into a brand new sweatshirt and sweatpants.
