Chapter 107 - Chapter 107

Bai Luo casually stashed away the Juvenile Jade and nimbly dodged the creature's claw.

"Roar—"

The Primo Geovishap's crimson eyes seemed to ignite with flames as its fiery claws aimed straight for Bai Luo's head. If that strike had landed, Bai Luo's head would have exploded like a watermelon.

With a slight movement, Bai Luo flicked his dagger, which flew into the nearby rock wall with a wire attached. Using the mechanism on the dagger, he managed to evade the claw strike.

Once free, Bai Luo pulled the dagger from the rock wall, crouched slightly, and with a burst of strength from his legs and core, he leaped high into the air.

In the past, he would have needed the wire to jump this high, but the One-Winged Angel's abilities had enhanced his jumping power, allowing him to rival that Yaksha who had eaten two of his sunsettias.

As he leaped, the Primo Geovishap's second strike came in. If he hadn't dodged in time, he might have been torn apart.

The deep claw marks left on the rock wall were a testament to how sharp its claws were.

Not that he would have been torn apart, though. With his quantumization ability, he wasn't afraid of its attacks.

But this ability had a five-second cooldown, so it was best saved for critical moments. Otherwise... things could get ugly.

As for the time with the Raiden Shogun, there had been no other choice.

At present, the combat power of the Seven Archons was undoubtedly the pinnacle of Teyvat. If he had held back then, it would have been suicide.

But the Raiden Shogun's martial prowess and combat instincts far surpassed ordinary people. In an instant, she had discerned the interval of his quantumization. If he hadn't activated his Battousai role that day, the fight wouldn't have gone so smoothly.

This strike didn't crit, but the dagger still sank deep into the Primo Geovishap's thick shell.

The "Hei" class was straightforward in its characteristics: one-hit kills.

All of his skills either increased critical hits or armor penetration, and some even had passives for triple damage or instant kills.

Unfortunately, he hadn't acquired the relevant equipment yet. Otherwise, with enough crit stacked, every strike would have a paralysis effect, meaning the enemy wouldn't even be able to move.

The title of "Time-Stop Sword Saint" wasn't just for show.

As Bai Luo landed on the Primo Geovishap's back using the wire, he didn't forget to deliver another strike. The One-Winged Angels abilities enhanced his plunging attacks, helping him break through its shell.

The Primo Geovishap roared in pain.

The crimson crystals on its back began to glow with a dazzling red light.

Not all crystals would develop into Juvenile Jade. Those that didn't would be infused with elemental energy by the Primo Geovishap, turning into explosive fire-element rocks.

When these rocks exploded, they would produce magma and extremely high-temperature flames. While the Primo Geovishap could withstand such heat, Bai Luo couldn't.

So he had no choice but to abandon the relatively safe spot on its back, flipping through the air and landing steadily on the ground.

The wound on the Primo Geovishap's back, pierced by Bai Luo's dagger, was now bleeding. The pain elicited low growls from the creature, further fueling its ferocity.

The fire element around it grew more intense, its heavy claws leaving deep scratches on the rocky ground as its flaming eyes locked onto Bai Luo.

"Boom—"

The Primo Geovishap's hind legs propelled it forward like an enraged bull, shattering the rocky ground. The flying debris nearly hit Qiqi above.

Bai Luo stood calmly, dagger in hand, his masked gaze fixed on the Primo Geovishap's eyes.

His damage output was indeed high, but relying solely on this short dagger to kill the creature was wishful thinking. He needed to find its weak point and deliver a fatal blow.

Prolonged combat wasn't his style.

The moment the Primo Geovishap entered his skill range, he struck.

The dagger left his hand and plunged straight into the Primo Geovishap's eye. As a Geo elemental creature, its eyes were gem-like in structure, making them impervious to ordinary human weapons.

But this seemingly unremarkable dagger pierced through its eye with ease.

"Crack—"

The sound of shattering glass echoed as crimson gem fragments scattered across the ground. The Primo Geovishap let out a mournful cry and charged at Bai Luo with the force of a speeding truck.

Bai Luo finally activated his quantumization ability, which he had been holding onto.

A faint blue glow enveloped him as the Primo Geovishap's massive body crashed into him, dispersing his form and slamming into the rock wall.

The scattered light particles quickly reformed, restoring Bai Luo to his original state.

The Primo Geovishap, true to its status as a mini-boss, merely shook its head and looked at Bai Luo again, unfazed. If it had been an ordinary monster, that impact would have knocked it out cold.

From its shattered eye, magma dripped freely, while the remaining eye radiated killing intent, sending a chill down Bai Luo's spine.

But instead of charging again, the Primo Geovishap used its Geo elemental abilities to burrow into the rocky ground, disappearing from sight.

Once underground, the Geo elemental creature moved like a fish in water, the tremors in the rock layers signaling its presence.

It could be right beneath Bai Luo, ready to burst out and take a vicious bite at any moment.

Faced with this situation, Bai Luo didn't hesitate. He activated his Shadow Step ability, which had just cooled down.

His figure vanished from the cave, leaving only the rumbling sounds of the Primo Geovishap moving through the rock layers.

Before long, the Primo Geovishap emerged from the ground, looking slightly confused as it sniffed the air.

Had the human run away?

Its sense of smell wasn't particularly sharp, but its connection to the earth was strong. The earth's feedback told it that aside from the little herb gatherer, there was no one else nearby.

"Roar—"

The Primo Geovishap let out a furious roar, venting its frustration and indignation.

After its outburst, it returned to its spot, lying down to slowly heal its wounds using the earth's power.

But it failed to notice that the black figure had been replaced by a blood-red one, and that figure had already locked onto it.

Just as it opened its mouth, a small sunsettia fell inside.

"???"

By the time it realized something was wrong, it was too late. It felt an odd force restraining it, preventing it from even burrowing underground.

"Whimper—"

The Primo Geovishap let out a mournful cry, perhaps pleading for mercy or simply lamenting its fate.

Perhaps... just perhaps, what made it wail was the sourness it had never experienced in its life.

Regardless, Bai Luo's body was now pressed close to the ground, his face barely a fist's distance from the earth.

"Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu: Nine-Head Dragon Flash!"

A flash of sword light, and Bai Luo's draw cut technique bypassed the Primo Geovishap's tough shell, striking directly at its one vulnerable "heart."
