Chapter 330 - Nothing can stop him

Peace and love.

By talking and understanding each other, two conflicts could be resolved, and all the hatred in the past would disappear with the passage of time.

If it was so easy to solve all the problems, then why did Masa even need to grow stronger?

Why did the original protagonist start to fight the others?

Was it not because they couldn't achieve peace by talking?

It was because the protagonist could defeat the enemy that everyone could sit patiently at the same table, discussing peace and whatnot. It was because those opponents knew that they weren't the protagonist's opponents that they decided to take the peace as they couldn't take the consequences of fighting the protagonist, that peace was the path that they had chosen!

However, what if the protagonist was defeated and disappeared?

What if Masa was gone somehow?

Instead of believing in the heart of someone that Masa only knew through a story, it was better he took control over Michael's mind directly so that he would not need to worry about being betrayed.

Yes, the angel might be a holy existence, kind and gentle, yet, as the god had passed away, who could tell?

Similar to the world of One Piece, Masa thought of controlling the leaders of the angels and the fallen angels so that he could control everyone who was still living within the Christian myth.

Only the leaders were the ones he needed to control.

As for the others, he had no need of them as it was too wasteful to take control over them.

Or could he?

Somehow, if he connected his technique to a certain medium, such as the moon, he might be able to control the entire world. Similar to Masa of Mahouka, who planned to change the entire humanity into magicians by sending many satellites around the world, creating a gigantic magic circle which transformed all the living beings on the world, he could do the same in this world, but in this world, his case was to control the world, so he had no need such a large amount of energy.

Still, even if he planned to do so, he knew that it wouldn't be easy, especially when many creatures in this world had the power to destroy a planet or two.

Many of the King of Gods or some of those deities were powerful, and it wasn't so easy for him to have a chance to meet them like how he met Michael, who naively came to his place alone without the protection of anyone.

"But with this, the heavens and the Vatican are mine."

As Michael came to him, Masa didn't hesitate and quickly downloaded all the memories within Michael's mind, including the God of the Bible. He had never forgotten his goal to take control over the system of the Sacred Gear and even erased the Sacred Gears from the humans, taking all of them to become his.

His purpose might appear selfish, but when one thinks about the anarchy caused by the humans who wielded the power of Sacred Gear, especially the Longinus, which made them able to kill even those of gods, then why should he hesitate?

To achieve complete peace, Masa knew that he had to be cruel, or else, others would be cruel toward him.

Closing his eyes, Masa absorbed all of Michael's memories and took away Michael's DNA.

Unlike Azazel, Masa didn't intend to take down Michael, especially when Michael wasn't that smart and obedient.

If it was Azazel, even if he was controlled, he might find something amiss; thus, Masa erased him, but then again, Azazel had hurt his women, so of course, Azazel had to pay the price.

As for Michael, there was still room for redemption, so after Masa got everything from Michael, he told him to leave directly before he returned to everyone who had been waiting for him.

"Masa!"

Watching as Masa returned safely, all of them sighed in relief, but soon, they couldn't help but ask about Michael, wondering what they had talked about.

"We fought for a bit and told him to go back."

"...um, that's it?"

How flat!

Masa just fought someone from the Old Satan Faction, and then suddenly, he fought Michael.

"Well, instead of fighting, I tell him to just get the hell out."

"Why? Shouldn't you talk to him first?"

"We're all enemies, after all. Who can tell that heaven isn't related to this attack? Or even if the angels aren't the one, the church might be the reason, right? Moreover, do you think it is appropriate for two enemies, who have been fighting for eons, to suddenly come to our side and ask what was happening like we are two friends?"

"....." Everyone.

Masa looked at everyone and said, "Don't think of the angel and the fallen angel as someone that you can talk to peacefully without worry. We have been fighting for so long, so how can our relationship be amiable so easily?

"More importantly, did he think that he was my friend, that he could just come to my house and ask me out to meet?"

"....." Everyone.

While peace was probably what everyone wished for since a meaningless fight wasn't something that they loved, they hadn't reached a peace yet, so how did Michael think to approach him without much thought, asking him what had happened, as if they had a deep friendship?

It was just that this wasn't the end since, from a distance, Masa noticed the presence of another, which made him subconsciously glance in the direction of Akeno. Probably, the best way for him to handle this was like how he handled Michael, but considering the relationship between Akeno and this person, he felt that he shouldn't do that, but in the end—

"Hmm?"

Akeno tilted her head, feeling confused, blushed, wondering whether Masa wanted to hold her again.

"I will go out for a bit."

Masa decided to take control over this fallen angel, too, as he felt that it was too much for them.

Did they think that they could just come to him and ask about his information like it was nothing, even though he was the one who worked hard?

Then, if he refused to tell them anything, they would sulk and think that his words were a provocation for their future peace.

"Going out again?"

"Yup. Wait for a bit. I will be done soon." Masa patted their heads before he left, thinking that peace by understanding each other had never been the way. Instead, he should have conquered all of them, erasing all the unstable factors, then bringing true peace to this world.

"I wonder whether there is something that we can do for him..." Asia murmured, as she wanted to be of help to Masa, which also resonated with the others as they wanted to help him.

"Believe in him." Unexpectedly, it was Serafall who said those words. "When he asks us, we will help him, but if he doesn't, then let's just patiently wait for him and welcome him when he is finished."

"Yes."

Serafall knew that in Masa's mind, this wasn't the place where they should fight, but while she sighed, thinking that he had underestimated her power and tolerance, she smiled and knew she could trust him to bring a peaceful world for all of them.

Similar to Michael, Baraqiel was also taken under the control of Masa and quickly returned to control the rest of their followers.

Taking a deep breath, Masa knew that this was just the beginning since even if he had taken control over the angel and the fallen angel, the world was still filled with various mythological creatures that had a power that was enough to destroy this world.

Fortunately, he knew what to do and nothing could stop him anymore.
