Julius, Leopold, Marius, and I charged toward the Venomous Tyrant. The massive insect-like beast responded in kind, sprinting toward us with terrifying speed.
Marius, however, was still trembling. His body shook, his pupils dilated in fear. He was paralyzed.
Seeing this, I immediately struck him on the head, snapping him back to reality.
"Snap out of it, you big idiot! Conquer your fear and fight!" I scolded him.
"B-But Naoki... I can't do it like you... That thing is terrifying and disgusting!" Marius hesitated, trying to justify his fear.
I sighed. "Listen, stop thinking of it as a bug. Think of it as just another monster that looks like an insect. That way, it's completely different from the bugs you hate. I believe in you, Marius. You're the best tank here!"
Marius stared at me for a moment before gritting his teeth and clenching his fists.
"You're right... I'll do it!" He roared and charged forward.
The fear in his eyes was gone. He had overcome it.
