Chapter 368 - The Magic Lamp Genie and Descent into Hell

In the Ancient God's True World, the Fruit of the World of Death, Rosen fired a single shot, sending the Goddess of Magic on her final journey.

The moment she fell, several loot spheres dropped.

He casually crushed one, obtaining a divine persona, a massive amount of divine essence crystals, five extraordinary artifacts of a true god, and, finally, a miraculous divine treasure formed upon her complete demise. And this was only what dropped from the Goddess of Magic—he had yet to claim what would fall from the True God of Elements.

But that didn't matter. Everything could be exchanged through the Hunter's Map.

Rosen retrieved the Hunter's Map and looked at his staggering three million hunter points before beginning his exchange.

Elemental Laws, Magic Laws, a True God's Magic Tower, the Divine Persona of the True God of Elements, the Divine Kingdom of the True God of Magic—everything except miraculous treasures could be exchanged. Even the destroyed divine persona and divine kingdom could be restored through the Hunter's Map.

Just what kind of power allowed the Hunter's Map to bring back things that had been utterly annihilated?

Rosen continued exchanging items, then infused all his newly acquired treasures into the body of the Miraculous Fairy Dragon, Little Dragon Girl.

Now that she had inherited part of the True God of Elements' power, she had the potential to break past her limits and ascend to godhood.

However, Rosen sealed her away. Her current foundation had yet to reach his expectations.

With the easiest target—the True God of Elements—already eliminated through manipulation, Rosen turned his sights on his second prey: a True God-level Void Worm lurking in the depths of the void.

The Void Worm wasn't necessarily stronger than the True God of Elements, but locating one was no easy task. Even if found, stopping it from escaping would be another major challenge. Worse still, True God-level Void Worms found in the Astral Void were highly likely to live in swarms.

Years ago, the Doomsday Ark encountered a swarm of Void Worms—ones at the level of Great True Gods.

Although three Great True Gods managed to drive them away, they paid a heavy price for it.

Thus, finding a Void Worm would require some luck.

Meanwhile, Dark Sun Slime had already assisted Amy in capturing several mechanical deities. As Amy was currently researching those mechanical gods, it was the perfect opportunity to send Dark Sun Slime to hunt for a Void Worm.

But leaving it entirely to luck wouldn't do. The power level of Void Worms varied greatly.

A True God-level one was difficult to find, but a demigod-level Void Worm wouldn't be as challenging.

If Dark Sun Slime could devour a demigod-level Void Worm, it could use Eternal Shapeshifting to perfectly mimic one. This would allow it to "fish" in the depths of the void rather than rely on random encounters, making it only a matter of time before it located a True God-level Void Worm.

After sending off Dark Sun Slime, Rosen began planning the hunt for the Nightmare Dragon Spider, a sinister god of intellect.

The Nightmare Dragon Spider was no ordinary fearsome deity—it was an absolute nemesis of dragons.

The decline of the dragon race? The most fatal blow had come from the Nightmare Dragon Spider.

Had it not been for the fact that the Nightmare Dragon Spider was an evil god—one of the most extreme kinds, hunted down across the main world—it might have completely wiped out the dragons that fled to the Dragon Realm. Of course, that didn't mean the Nightmare Dragon Spider could rival a Great True God.

In terms of raw power, the Nightmare Dragon Spider wasn't even as strong as the True God of Elements.

However, it ranked last among Rosen's three targets for a reason—it was far too troublesome to deal with. The Nightmare Dragon Spider could infinitely split into avatars, each of which parasitized different beings' dreams. As long as even one avatar survived, the Nightmare Dragon Spider would never truly die.

To completely kill it, every last avatar had to be found and destroyed.

Even with a Main God Network spanning the entire world and the Omniscient Magic Eye to observe the Nightmare Dragon Spider's details, Rosen still couldn't track down all its avatars—because not even the Nightmare Dragon Spider itself knew where some of them were hiding.

"Looks like I'll have to bait it out," Rosen muttered helplessly.

Hunting the Nightmare Dragon Spider wasn't something that could be done overnight. After putting away the Hunter's Map, he began sorting through his spoils.

The five extraordinary artifacts of the Goddess of Magic were all tailored for mages.

Four of them could be saved for Little Dragon Maiden's future use. The only exception was a wand crafted from a branch of the World Tree. The branch still retained some vitality, making it an excellent supplement for the budding World Tree. In the future, when the Laws of Time and Space were elevated into World Laws, the branch's internal World Law could serve as a catalyst.

The divine essence crystals would also be kept for Little Dragon Maiden to construct her divine kingdom.

As for the miraculous divine treasure, Rosen was undecided.

[Magic Lamp Deity: Miraculous Treasure]

Level: True God

Miracle Attribute: Can consume essence and specific resources to create a Lamp Deity.

Miracle Traits: Magic Lamp Curse, One and Only, Eternal and Indestructible.

Upon carefully analyzing its properties, Rosen's eyes lit up.

He channeled his Eternal Essence into the Magic Lamp Deity, only to see the treasure immediately strain under the pressure.

Forced to hold back, he reduced the infusion to divine essence and life essence instead.

Draining nearly all of these two essences from his body, he finally cast the Goddess of Magic's divine persona into the Magic Lamp Deity.

The fused essence and divine persona quickly gave birth to a True God-level Lamp Deity, its entire body a flawless, jade-like white.

[Lamp Deity: Miraculous Lifeform]

Level: True God

Sequence: Lamp Deity Sequence

Law: Wishing Law

Divine Persona: Magic Divine Persona (141)

Miracle Trait: Magic Lamp Curse

Like the Golden Divine Bull, the Lamp Deity was also a miraculous lifeform at the True God level.

However, the newly born Lamp Deity was certainly not as powerful as the Golden Divine Bull.

Strictly speaking, the Lamp Deity was still just a baby—currently a tiny three-inch girl sucking on her fingers.

But that didn't mean it was weak. In fact, its growth potential surpassed that of the Golden Divine Bull. Like Rosen's Death Incarnation, it belonged to an Immortal Sequence, gaining 14 points of growth with each sequence level. Moreover, it was naturally attuned to the Law of Wishing and the Magic Lamp Curse.

Any spell mastered by the Goddess of Magic could now be converted into a Magic Lamp Curse and cast by the Lamp Deity.

In a sense, the Lamp Deity was a weaker version of the Goddess of Magic at this stage, but in the future, its potential would even surpass hers.

Rosen sent the Lamp Deity into the Ancient Gods' True Realm and was about to leave when Amy suddenly arrived.

Amy looked at the Lamp Deity in delight, while the Lamp Deity stared blankly back at her.

"Can I take care of her?"

Amy asked as she pressed herself against Rosen, wrapping her arms around his. After a slight hesitation, she loosened her collar slightly.

"It seems you two were meant for each other."

Recalling Amy's Unique Miracle Trait, Rosen handed the Lamp Deity to her.

As a Miraculous Lifeform, Amy possessed the Miracle Wishing trait.

This was the highest level of equivalent exchange—far superior to both Rosen's Equivalent Contract and the Conceptual Transaction of the Star Coin True God. In essence, as long as the price paid was sufficient, Miracle Wishing could achieve anything short of the Eternal level.

However, despite its power, Miracle Wishing came with an extremely terrifying cost.

Amy had two extraordinary professions—one as a Mechanist, already at Sequence 1, and the other as a Fantasist, which was still at Sequence 3.

For wishes targeting Sequence 3, the consumption was still manageable. However, for Sequence 2, the cost increased tenfold, and for Sequence 1, it skyrocketed a hundredfold. The root of the issue was that her Fantasist sequence was too low.

The Fantasist profession belonged to the Fantasy Elf race, and throughout history, very few had ever advanced beyond Sequence 3.

In fact, the Fantasist Sequence itself was inherently limited, unable to progress beyond Sequence 3.

Amy had considered creating her own advancement path, but that was easier said than done.

Although Rosen claimed to have created his own sequence, in truth, he had built upon the knowledge of countless predecessors. He had borrowed and refined existing ideas to forge something new. Meanwhile, Amy's Fantasist Sequence had only one possible reference—the Phantom Dragon.

But that alone was far from enough. While the Phantom Dragon and Fantasist had some similarities, their core concepts were entirely different.

The Phantom Dragon was based on dream imagination, whereas the Fantasist was grounded in real-world imagination.

As a result, Amy remained far from reaching Sequence 2, and her Miracle Wishing power remained heavily restricted.

However, judging by her reaction, Miracle Wishing might not be solely limited by her Fantasist Sequence—it could also be enhanced by the Law of Wishing. In fact, with the Lamp Deity's power, Amy's stagnant Fantasist Sequence might finally advance.

No wonder Amy, who usually hated being "messed with" by Rosen, had uncharacteristically chosen to reveal a weakness this time.

Rosen didn't hold back. He scooped Amy up and eagerly returned to the Glorious Palace, where he tormented her for several days before finally letting her go.

When he woke up, Amy had already fled with her beloved little Lamp Deity.

New World – Ruins of the Hell Realm

Before descending via Main God Network Data Transmission, Rosen had already transformed into a Purgatory Blood Dragon in advance.

From any angle, he was an entirely authentic Purgatory Blood Dragon.

In fact, he was even stronger than a true Purgatory Blood Dragon because he had fused with the Miracle Painting – Horror Paradise.

[Horror Paradise: Miracle Painting]

[Level: True God]

[Miracle Attribute: Able to create mysterious domains by harnessing the Laws of Horror, Illusions, and Painting]

[Mysterious Domains: Horror Mall, Undead Concert Hall, Haunted House of Terror, Mirror Maze, Sinister Circus, Skull Pirate Ship, Soul Carousel, Time-Space Ferris Wheel, Human Bumper Cars, Hanging Trampoline, Rolling Slide…]

[Miracle Traits: Mysterious Rules, One with Heaven and Earth, Eternal and Indestructible]

Over the years, Horror Paradise had unknowingly evolved into a Miracle Painting, a discovery that even surprised Rosen.

This painting was not a miracle painting created by Rosen alone, but rather a work completed over nearly a thousand years by countless painters.

For artists, Horror Paradise had become a sacred land of painting.

Now, it comprised millions of mysterious domains. Apart from the Horror Mall, every domain had its own unique mysterious rules, and some of the most powerful ones even possessed forces surpassing ordinary Laws within the painting.

As the master of this Miracle Painting, Rosen could use it to control all painters.

However, his primary goal in fusing with the painting was to obtain the power of the Phantom Law contained within it.

On its own, the Phantom Law was merely an ordinary Law—but when fused with endless grievances, it became a Source of an Evil God, something entirely unnatural.

Back in the Astral Realm, Rosen had discovered a Source of an Evil God embedded with the Phantom Law and ultimately decided to merge it with Horror Paradise.

Now that Horror Paradise had reached the True God Level, the Phantom Law Evil God Source had proven to be an invaluable asset.

By integrating the Phantom Law into his Purgatory Blood Dragon form, Rosen received a powerful feedback effect—he simultaneously mastered both Dragon Blood Law and Phantom Law. Moreover, due to the influence of the Evil God Source, he had transformed into a Wise Evil God.

This same-source Evil God energy was something that other Evil Gods could instantly recognize upon seeing him.

As a result, the moment Rosen descended onto the Hell Realm Ruins, nearly all the Evil Gods lurking there became aware of a newcomer's arrival.

Not every Evil God hiding in Hell was necessarily a Wise Evil God, but none of them were completely mindless beings like the Mother of Flesh, who had lost all control over herself. After all, if they had no intelligence or means of communication, how could they have gathered in Hell for mutual support?

Since Evil Gods were universally despised and hunted down, conflicts among them were actually quite rare.

The Evil Gods entrenched in Hell were especially welcoming to newcomers.

Rosen had barely arrived when several Evil Gods came to visit.

Some wished to befriend him, while others were merely testing the waters.

Those who didn't visit were either in a state of chaos, unable to regain clarity, or held hostile intentions, unwilling to associate with him. Back when the Purgatory Blood Dragon was still a Dragon God, it had clashed with more than a few Evil Gods—not just one or two.

Now that it had fallen into depravity and become an Evil God, many took pleasure in its misfortune.

Of course, due to the rules set among the Evil Gods, none would openly attack Rosen in his Purgatory Blood Dragon form.

Nightmare Abyss – A Corner of the Hell Ruins

This was the lair of the Evil God Nightmare Dragon Spider.

Seated upon the Nightmare Throne in human form, the Nightmare Dragon Spider looked down at its trembling Subordinate God.

Its Subordinate God was also an Evil God—and a rare Wise Evil God at that.

All Evil Gods were True Gods who had mastered at least two Laws, making them powerful even at the True God level. Such beings were nearly impossible to subjugate under another Evil God of the same tier. For one Evil God to serve another, the master would typically have to be at least a Great True God.

Yet the Nightmare Dragon Spider had defied common sense, subjugating a Wise Evil God as its Subordinate while still at the True God level.

If word got out, it would be enough to make all True Gods wary.

"What do you think of the Purgatory Blood Dragon?"

The Nightmare Dragon Spider gazed down at its Subordinate God, the Deception Evil God, and asked.

"It seems to have truly fled here…"

The Deception Evil God trembled as it spoke. "Back then, the Dragon Realm suddenly vanished into the depths of the Astral Realm. Later, the Pantheon confirmed that the Sun Dragon God had fallen. Given that, the Dragon Realm most likely ended up in Rosen's hands. The Purgatory Blood Dragon probably escaped into the Astral Realm, fused with an Evil God Source, and then fled to Hell."

"That thing sure is lucky."

The Nightmare Dragon Spider couldn't help but lick the drool dripping from the corner of its mouth.

The Deception Evil God wielded the Laws of Deception and Lies—no True God could lie before it. That meant the Purgatory Blood Dragon's escape, its fusion with an Evil God Source, and its flight to Hell to evade Rosen had to be true.

The Phantom Law was an inherently weak Law, so any Evil God Source it formed would naturally be relatively weak as well.

The Purgatory Blood Dragon, however, was not weak among True Gods, and the Dragons had an incredible heritage. It wasn't surprising that it had ways to resist the Evil God Source's mental corruption. If the Nightmare Dragon Spider could devour the Purgatory Blood Dragon, it would take another significant step toward becoming a Forbidden True God.

However, the Purgatory Blood Dragon was now an Evil God as well, and Evil Gods were forbidden from killing each other.

If it wanted to devour the Purgatory Blood Dragon, it had to do so in absolute secrecy.

Even though it was innately capable of countering Dragonkind, it would still need to go all out for a silent hunt to succeed.

Moreover, if it succeeded, it would likely be ostracized by the other Evil Gods.
