[Day 1: You remain stationed as an S-Class Valkyrie of Schicksal...]

Xia Chen never anticipated simulating the final Honkai event.

Wait, what's surprising is that there even exists a last Honkai?

In human language terms, 'final' typically implies the ultimate occurrence on a timeline, with no further repetitions or appearances.

In other words...

Xia Chen instinctively looked into the distance but found the surroundings bustling with people, and the entire world remained peaceful. It seemed this Honkai had yet to be observed.

He recognized the location as Schicksal Headquarters, but unlike his memories, the current state could only be described as decayed.

The once majestic Sky Island was gone, leaving behind only a few remaining Lesser Divine Construct robots. The vast Valkyrie forces and their associated support personnel were also nowhere to be seen.

Fortunately, his communicator still functioned.

However, upon opening the contacts list, he noticed it contained very few names: Ana, labeled as "wife," along with Wendy, Alvitr, Theresa, Raiden Mei, Bronya, Seele...

Scrolling down, there were fewer than ten names listed.

The current date displayed was 2032, and the night's moon shone blood red.

"Ah, Post-Apocalyptic Honkai."

Xia Chen began to grasp the situation.

"It seems Theresa is now in charge."

Clearly, Anti-Entropy's Entropy Reduction Plan had succeeded. He could feel his body in an extreme state of 'weakness.'

Perhaps this weakness stemmed from the lack of Honkai Energy intake, causing hunger?

He paused momentarily before contacting Ana, labeled as "wife" in his contacts.

"Hello? Why did you suddenly call at this hour? Aren't you usually busy right now?"

Considering the time frame, Ana should be around 33 years old, yet her voice retained its youthful charm.

However, Xia Chen spoke gravely, "Ana, no matter how occupied you are, get ready immediately. It's best to find a safe place to hide."

"What's wrong?"

"The final Honkai event is about to begin," Xia Chen said with a slightly grim expression.

"Honkai? Didn't it end a decade ago..."

"Trust me, dealing with Honkai isn't easy." Xia Chen paused briefly before adding, "Don't forget who I once was."

He was a Herrscher - theoretically, the closest entity to Honkai itself.

Even without Honkai's presence, he still possessed his Herrscher Core.

"But wasn't your Herrscher Core removed?" Ana asked instinctively.

Xia Chen's eyes narrowed slightly. From Ana's explanation, he learned that after Entropy Reduction, Herrschers fighting for humanity experienced severe discomfort and urges of their cores going berserk. To ensure their safety, every Herrscher had their core extracted.

Strangely enough, following the isolation from Honkai Energy, the removal process went smoothly with virtually no side effects.

Without the constraint of her Herrscher Core, Bronya became a game developer, while Raiden Mei, having nowhere else to go, continued staying at Schicksal. Similarly, Xia Chen remained there but rarely participated in its operations, eventually marrying Ana.

But as for Kiana...

Ana hadn't mentioned anything about her situation.

Xia Chen didn't have time to delve deeper into these matters either. After informing Ana, he promptly called Alvitr next.

"Hello?"

This former member of the Immortal Blades' technical department now worked at Schicksal but had long since ceased involvement in frontline affairs. However, Xia Chen wasted no time on pleasantries. "Alvitr, order everyone to prepare for war; Honkai is coming."

"Honkai, you mean..."

Alvitr's voice abruptly cut off within the video call.

The reason being, Schicksal's alarms had just started blaring.

"Warning: A global-scale Major Honkai Eruption has occurred."

The chilling electronic voice echoed throughout every corner, leaving newcomers to Schicksal bewildered.

Schicksal was no longer the organization leading the globe but had transformed into a charitable institution. This change wasn't due to lack of leadership from Rita or Amber; rather, after the successful completion of the Entropy Reduction Plan, over half of Schicksal's high-ranking members agreed on this dissolution path.

Without Honkai, there was no need for Schicksal to govern the world.

Instead of seeking global dominance, many Valkyries preferred a simpler and more modest life.

However, they never anticipated that Honkai would make a sudden resurgence at this moment.

Xia Chen searched diligently for the weapons warehouse, muttering to himself, "I hope the Fourth-Gen Valkyrie Armors are still usable."

He didn't expect Schicksal to have any Fifth-Gen armors at this point. Even maintaining conventional armor adequately would be considered commendable leadership for the current state of Schicksal.

Fortunately, Schicksal hadn't neglected their weaponry entirely.

A significant number of Valkyrie armors were well-preserved, including his own Moon Ash suit. The artificial intelligence overseeing these armors was none other than Ai-chan.

"Boss, what can I assist you with?" Ai-chan sounded groggy yet polite as usual.

Xia Chen promptly ordered, "Open all weapon restriction systems. Ai-chan, find somewhere to hide."

"Huh? What's happening?" Ai-chan snapped back to reality.

Meanwhile, Xia Chen donned the Moon Ash Armor and left with the Cloud Spear in hand.

Throughout Schicksal Headquarters, some were alert, while others remained uncertain.

Fortunately, half an hour later, the remaining Valkyries stationed at Schicksal had prepared themselves for battle.

"Amber, reach out to political leaders worldwide; they must be anxious right now. Also, assess how many countries are still willing to follow Schicksal's lead during this crisis," Theresa instructed methodically. "Dr. Einstein, I'm entrusting matters related to the source of Honkai to you."

"The Administrative Valkyrie and C-rank Valkyries will handle logistics. A-rank Valkyries should lead B-rank Valkyries to clear potential Honkai Beasts, while the remaining S-rank Valkyries will engage based on actual combat situations."

"Have Ai-chan remove restrictions on all weapons and armor."

Theresa maintained her composure, but then she heard Amber solemnly respond:

"Lady Theresa, due to the aftereffects of artificial Stigmata, most first-generation Valkyries have been retired. The new generation hasn't yet received any artificial Stigmata, resulting in diminished combat effectiveness and adaptability to Honkai Energy."

"There's no time for training now." Theresa frowned. "How many S-rank Valkyries capable of combat remain?"

"Besides the four squad captains, we have Xia Chen, Wendy, and Ana. Lady Durandal disappeared after that incident, and Rita has also relinquished her position."

Theresa understood what Amber was referring to.

Schicksal had ultimately relied on Kiana's power to seal Honkai, even going as far as demanding a sacrifice of her life. This led to a rift between Durandal and Schicksal.

"I'll try to contact them, but the current battle cannot wait."

Theresa's expression turned grave, displaying the qualities of a competent leader.
