PS: I've returned to work, because I overcame the virus in just half a day.
Yesterday around 4 pm, I started having a fever accompanied by overall body aches. I tested positive and isolated myself. The whole night was very uncomfortable, definitely worse than the typical flu.
But it was certainly not unbeatable!
This morning, after getting out of bed, everything had passed: normal body temperature, normal appetite, still had my sense of smell, no runny nose, and no coughing… The only evidence that I had been infected was a very slight body ache.
Why so fast? I've figured out two reasons.
First, ever since college, almost thirty years, I have never taken cold medicine. Just one word: endure!
I believe that for viruses like the flu, there has never been a specific drug. Our only way to fight viruses is through our own immune system, and it's the same with COVID-19.
