"Xander, Xavier I'm glad you could make it." Lyukhe said.
"Yeah well we didn't really have much of a choice. Also since we weren't planning on going to war, we don't have much in the ways of artillery..." Xavier replied.
"It's fine. You being here is what matters most." Lyukhe said.
We were all just outside the property line of the Chastaine estate. We knew she didn't have much in the ways of an army, but that didn't mean she didn't have secret Military weaponry hidden in her fortress.
The thing about people who scheme and do underhanded tricks, they tend to live a life rife of paranoia and fear. So there was no telling what kind of bullshit she had up her metaphorical sleeves.
"Okay, is everyone here?" Lyukhe asked.
I did a quick head count and flinched when I saw Ferdinand and Sylvester. They were practically foaming at the mouth. I could practically see their pheromones rising up off their bodies in a thick haze.
