Kyle was done with Jane shortly after but slowly realized he couldn't bring this home to her.
He needed to get her somewhere safe
"Are you okay? You seem distracted…" Jane said, cuddled up in bed.
"I'm okay… I think," Kyle responded and for the first time, Jane saw his true face.
"But I don't want to talk about it. At least not now," Kyle responded.
He knew he might need to end things with her to protect her from whoever was watching her.
If he severed all connections, then they wouldn't be able to use her as leverage.
He also thought about hiring bodyguards but they wouldn't put their lives on the line.
No pay was worth that much unless they were military-trained or veterans, but even with that, uncertainty remained.
"Okay, but you can talk to me about anything…" Jane said, hesitant.
"Anything?" Kyle responded to which Jane nodded. Kyle was her first and she had given him the power to destroy her.
