Later that day, Angelica got in her coffin and went to bed before sundown while Megan took Joseph for a stroll. Joseph jumped up into a tree, and Megan watched. Joseph then sat on the branch he was on and started to puppy dog whine even though he was human at the time. Megan said, "Come on, Joseph, you can't stay up there forever." Joseph said, "Perhaps not. But that doesn't mean I still can't miss her and feel guilty about what I did." Joseph laid down on the branch and listened to Megan while his jewel glowed blue. Megan said, "Come on, Joseph. You didn't hurt me. And I don't think it'll happen again." Joseph said, "But what if it does? What if I don't remember you and can't stop myself next time?" Joseph held onto the branch like he was hugging it and started to cry as much as he did last night. Megan said, "Well, this is getting me nowhere. Come on down, Joseph." Joseph jumped down and was still feeling down with his amulet glowing blue.
Megan took Joseph to the Siret River before sundown, and they spoke. Joseph looked at his reflection in the river and saw his human face. Then, one of his tears dripped into the river, turning his image into his werewolf reflection. Angelica then found them by the river and eavesdropped on their conversation. Megan said, "Joseph, have you ever thought about changing back? You know, giving up your power." Angelica couldn't believe what Megan had asked Joseph, and she waited for his response. Joseph looked at his jewel and said, "Yes, I've thought about it. But I would only do that if I found someone else. Angelica's a monster, too. I wish I could but never mind. I'm going to go for a walk. No need to follow me." Angelica then walked away sad and wondering what she should do since it's dangerous to get back together with Joseph, and they'll both remain heartbroken if she doesn't.
The narrator said, "Joseph also walked away sad and across the town before sundown, thinking about what he could do if he couldn't control his powers." While he walked, he saw the city was loaded with werewolf lovers. They even had a statue of a werewolf in town. Joseph then looked at his hands and saw them growing fur and turning to paws since the sun was setting, so he put his paws in his pockets, hiding them from the townsfolk. Joseph looked at the werewolf statute, and that gave Joseph an idea. Joseph hurried down an alley and made it to the cemetery. Once he got there, he found the mausoleum of the dead werewolves. While he was there, Megan spied on him and saw him looking at the mausoleum. She didn't see anything on it, but she did see a few werewolf statues by it.
Joseph took a look above the door and saw some writing above it. Joseph read it and said, "If you're reading this, then that means you're a werewolf. I made sure this writing can only be seen by werewolf eyes. If you wish to give up your powers and get rid of the curse, place whatever is cursing you on one of the werewolf statues before the blood drinkers get you. Do so, and the spell will be broken, you'll be a hundred percent human, and the blood drinkers will never follow you again. Sir. Werewolf the first. The first werewolf ever to be killed by the blood drinkers and put in this mausoleum." The narrator said, "Joseph gave it some thought and was considering it." Joseph said, "I must give up my powers." The narrator said, "Joseph started to remove his necklace, and Megan couldn't believe he would do what she asked him earlier. Joseph then closed his eyes and remembered everything since he got the necklace. Some things were bad, but other things were good. Since it wasn't all bad, Joseph decided he couldn't give up his powers and placed the necklace back around his neck. Joseph kept the writing in mind, but he left the cemetery disappointed, and Megan was relieved that he hadn't given up his powers."
Once sundown came, Joseph started to become a werewolf and ran off while Megan tried to find Angelica somewhere in town. While Megan searched for Angelica, Angelica went back to the vampires' hideout and met up with her friends there. Maddy said, "You're still upset that you had to kill your boyfriend?" Angelica nodded her head yes and didn't say a word. Maddy said, "Come on, Angelica. You can't say you were actually in love with a werewolf. He was a werewolf, and we kill werewolves." Angelica said, "Yeah, I get it. I want to be alone." Angelica ran upstairs crying because she was heartbroken, even though she wasn't slain.
After an hour, Matt came and got Angelica so they could pull their finale heist to show the mayor who's boss. Once they had everyone, they got in Matthew's car and drove around town. Angelica was still a little upset about what she had done to Joseph, so Matt came up with an idea to make Angelica feel better. Matt started to sing and remind her about all the fun they had killing werewolves. He also sang about all the things they do for the group. When Maddy's turn to sing came, she sang about all the heists they pulled, and Matt joined her. Matthew and Maddy took turns singing about what heists they had pulled in the past and how much fun they were. Then, all six started singing about how this would be their master heist, and Chris took a turn singing about how it would prove the mayor wrong about them. Carolyn sang the following verse about how much she looked forward to their heist. All six of them started singing together again, and when it was Raven's turn to sing, she sang about how great it would feel because now that the werewolf was gone, there wouldn't be anybody to bother them anywhere during their heist. After hearing Raven's verse, Angelica felt a little guilty and watched Chris lean out the window and sing about how he didn't want to see the police officers or the mayor during their heist. Carolyn took a turn and sang about how they would walk in and get away with it because nobody would have any proof they did it. Matt then turned their car into a convertible with the push of a button, and Maddy, Angelica, and Chris stood out of it and sang together about how after they get away with this, they'll show the mayor and never be criticized again. Once their song was over, Maddy, Angelica, and Chris retook their seats, and Matt shut the top of their car with a button.
Once they arrived at their destination, Matt parked their car, and they put their disguises on. Matthew said, "Ok, everyone knows the plan?" The other vampires all said, "Yep." Angelica said, "I don't know. This heist will prove the mayor wrong, but it's also dangerous. It's broken every criminal who's tried it." Matthew said, "Correction: It's broken every human criminal who's tried it." Carolyn showed them a newspaper and said, "Everyone except The Slaying Mask. He was never arrested. We're not even sure if he's even tried this." Chris said, "True, but he never stole again for some reason." Raven said, "Well, whatever it was, he's gone and won't interfere with this."
