Now there's just a pile of mess, with documents flooding the clerks' desks and the mayor's office. All of it filled with big-shot figures—who still gives a damn if you, some ordinary person, called the cops about being mugged or having your stuff stolen?
The thing driving City Hall to absolute collapse, though, was that damned group of Jewish people. On one hand, they're turning up the heat on City Hall, and on the other, they're broadcasting everywhere just how negligent City Hall has been.
Saying the city's laziness is the exact reason for the mess we're in now.
