"Yes, Grandma, I'll try and convince her. No, we just went to get Jace something, we'll be right back," Ariel said to Grandma Nari on the other side of the phone.
Aiden was staring at her, smiling.
They hadn't told Grandma Nari about their pregnancy, so they were being sneaky about it. They planned to tell her through an ultrasound picture, but Ariel felt like she was going to tell her soon.
"What did she say?" Aiden asked, massaging Ariel's shoulder as she sat in Carla's office.
"She said she wants us to throw a welcome party for Jess, that way, she's got to see her and apologize to her; she asked me to convince Jess that she wouldn't be there like Jess would believe it," Ariel sighed.
Aiden smirked, "Don't worry, even if she doesn't believe it, she'll still show up to her party. Those two women miss themselves," He said.
"I hope so... where is Carla? She said she would be back in a few minutes," Ariel stood from the chair.
