With Kazimir and Erin's help, I managed to pull on a simple outfit over my bandages with great difficulty. Doing it alone was nearly impossible—my body felt like it was weighed down with lead, and every movement sent dull, pulsing pain through me. They had administered some kind of stabilizing agent, but its effect was far from miraculous. The pain remained, a constant reminder of my injuries with every breath I took. My vision, which I had almost completely lost, only made things worse—the world blurred before my eyes, preventing me from even making out my own hands.
