Chapter 73 Aliens
"You learn from the world," Elder Pravarsha said "From the dungeons, the ruins of the old wars, the cursed lands, the sacred groves. There, your powers will find shape. There, your real trials await."
"But why now?" Karn asked "Why this urgency?"
The silence deepened for a moment, before Elder Chitrangada raised her eyes to the heavens and replied "Because something is coming. Something that may shake the foundations of this world."
A soft hum echoed as she waved her hand. Above them, a star map formed—constellations shifting unnaturally, lights blinking in unnatural patterns.
"Unknown vessels," she whispered.
"Ships from beyond this star system. Their trajectory has changed. They're heading toward Earth."
Karn's breath caught and said "Aliens?"
Bodhidharma nodded and said "A fleet. Not scouts. Not merchants. A force. We do not yet know their intent, but from what we've divined... it will not be peaceful."
