Chapter 382- God's Gate (Part 19)
In a split second, Arthur found himself completely wrapped in darkness from head to toe. Wherever he looked, it was dark and yet he could feel his body falling somewhere. The wind hit his face, and the sounds from the outside world started slowly returning to him.
He felt his entire life flashing before his eyes like a movie. It didn't take him long to realize that he had indeed… jumped into the hole. This leap was his goal, and it was happening right before his eyes at that moment.
Being in the air, slowly descending into this abyss was perhaps the worst feeling Arthur had experienced in his life, and it was not even close. It felt like his entire life was being sucked out of him and all he can do was watch. Large arms of formless darkness were grabbing him tightly, trying to capture him once and for all.
