[Talents]:
Racial Talent • Magic-Eligible — Tanas Humans are an ancient and powerful magical race, their blood carrying a natural affinity for magic. Almost every individual has considerable potential as a caster. Such a vast pool of magical potential is extremely rare even across the universe.
Whether it's ancient divine miracles, Shamanic elemental magic, dark era bloodline magic, or modern magitech— Tanas Humans possess exceptional adaptability and learning abilities. They can assimilate the magic of the universe through studying ancient and mysterious knowledge and modify themselves.
Although the Tanas Humans seem open and accepting on the surface, their genes hold a remarkable racial purity. No matter how powerful the extraordinary race they intermarry with, their magical traits will gradually be assimilated by the Tanas bloodline.
Thus, while preserving genetic diversity and avoiding hereditary diseases, Tanas Humans also maintain a high level of genetic purity. Even though they claim to be a 'culturally inclusive' civilization, at their core, they remain a 'bloodline-recognizing' people.
Talent Effect: For every 50 points of [Intelligence] you gain, you may set any system of magic as your 'Specialization'. Specialized spells will gain 180% learning speed and reduce mana consumption by 8% when cast.
[Specialties]:
[Robust Physique] — A strong and muscular body grants you formidable vitality, converting your [Constitution] to health at a ratio of 1:100;
[Transcendent Physique] — As a Gamma-tier being, you are the cornerstone of cosmic civilization, though still modest in standing. Even so, from your cells to your entire body, your constitution surpasses that of primitive beings. Any damage from lower-level targets is reduced to 80% effectiveness (including physical armor-piercing, magical penetration, and true damage).
When attacking targets of lower tiers, all your attacks and attribute checks are calculated at 300% effectiveness (Gamma-tier).
[Skills]:
"White Candle Star • Common Knowledge", "Beating", "Bullying the Weak", "Basic Magic Crop Cultivation • Agricultural Direction", "Basic Magic Knowledge" — From [Civilian]
[Tier]: Gamma-tier
————————
"A typical weak Gamma-tier, but that's expected. On a planet like this, enjoying such a favorable environment, it would be strange if you didn't reach Gamma-tier."
Li Aozi raised his head, feeling his high [Charisma] attribute gradually shaping the body, making it more attuned to its surroundings.
[Charisma], in essence, is an attraction to the external world, unlike the space-time property of gravity. [Charisma] is purely a biological attribute, representing affinity and acceptance, directly drawing the world's goodwill toward you.
Even without Omega Energy, high [Charisma] casters have appeared frequently throughout history, once known as sorcerers, witches, druids, or shamans. In ancient times, people often confused them with the [Eerie] class due to limited research and observational abilities. It wasn't until narrative-level civilizations introduced the six-class, twenty-four-tier system that clear distinctions were made.
On Azure Star, due to the scarcity of magical resources, Li Aozi's [Charisma] could not fully manifest its power over nature.
This includes but is not limited to: sand will not blind his eyes, water will not drown him, raindrops will not soak his clothes, and wild beasts will not actively attack him. If his [Charisma] reached 200 points, he might even walk on water or avoid freezing in cold air— though these are relatively insignificant.
However, on White Candle Star, Li Aozi instantly felt the planet's strong affection. The ambient magical currents eagerly revealed themselves to him, continuously pouring energy into his body. Even though this body had no mana regeneration skills, Li Aozi could clearly feel energy flowing endlessly like a vast ocean.
Not only that, despite this body having no affinity for any particular element, Li Aozi could sense the activity of elements in every corner of space— he couldn't see elemental spirits, but he could feel the surrounding curiosity and affection.
The night wind blew gently, atmospheric elements harmonizing with his body, even adjusting the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels to meet his exact needs.
The liquid elements in his body actively cooperated, balancing his fluids' acidity and alkalinity, granting him peace and tranquility.
Nuclear elements suppressed atomic decay around him, cautiously transmitting gentle energy through the moonlight, wary of even the slightest radiation harm.
Even the barely perceptible crystal lattice elements opened their reserves, drawing a substantial amount of earth vein elements from the magical mineral network beneath the ground, swirling around Li Aozi, keeping dust and dirt from touching his clothes.
When you're charismatic enough, the entire world likes you.
[You have earned the affection of this planet]
[You have gained a buff: Elemental Bond— On White Candle Star, you can freely absorb any elemental energy to restore your mana, and your elemental affinity on White Candle Star is increased by 50%.]
Li Aozi slowly sat up from the biochemical pool, his consciousness gradually synchronizing with his body. The ringing in his ears, like waves crashing against rocks, slowly faded. He raised his hand, examining the wheat-colored skin with faint purple veins, then clenched his fist. The force of his grip caused the air to compress, creating a bomb-like explosion.
His strength had reached a transcendent level. His control over his body was excellent, and his dexterity matched his immense strength. His constitution was especially robust, his solid muscles approaching the level of a new specialty.
Additionally, after inheriting the main body's primary attributes, his powerful [Charisma] caused the world to become increasingly friendly toward him. With his chromosomes altered, his body was transforming his appearance. Leo's once hideous face was gradually becoming more defined. In the long term, his looks would become increasingly approachable.
But there was a glaring issue.
——[Intelligence], too low.
With only 19 points in [Intelligence], he was severely underperforming on this educational planet of White Candle Star. In reality, outside the game, the [Intelligence] stat provides significant advantages.
Beyond increasing susceptibility to societal corruption, [Intelligence] is the most direct means of raising one's social class. High [Strength] may only get you manual labor among ordinary superhumans, but [Intelligence] aligns you with corporate managers, technocrats, and senior engineers, destined to be the elite from the start.
With 19 points in [Intelligence], Leo could have easily stood on equal footing with prodigies like Duzin and N4, geniuses whose initial [Intelligence] probably didn't exceed 20 points, yet they became pioneers in their fields.
Attributes over 20 points meant stepping into Alpha-tier superhuman status on Azure Star, but in the universe, it merely indicates the bare minimum qualifications.
"The problem is, I can't transplant the [Autocratic] specialty into this body. My knowledge of the extraordinary is too limited; I can't transfer specialties yet."
[Autocratic] is the best specialty, at least for [Domination] class players. No other specialty compares. It allows Li Aozi to bypass many challenges, overcoming difficulties and focusing entirely on boosting his main attribute, leaving everything else to [Charisma].
The issue is, [Autocratic] is a specialty, not a talent.
As for his main body's racial talent— the one that enhances teamwork experience— it's better left unused.
Right now, he didn't need experience. His main body was floating in the biochemical pool, constantly accumulating experience in abstinence mode. With thousands of players renting time, Li Aozi never worried about running out of experience.
Lacking [Autocratic] was annoying, meaning he'd have to start many things from scratch and would need to raise his [Intelligence] level.
Fortunately, investing in [Intelligence] is never a loss. No matter how much you put in, you'll always get returns— just not as profitable as focusing on [Charisma].
In his past life, Li Aozi had suffered from insufficient intelligence, but by the late game, everyone realized that no matter how much they raised their intelligence, they could never outsmart those who specialized in [Intelligence].
Rather than splitting points evenly, it was better to go all-in on the main attribute. That way, you could power through everything and carve out a future.
As it turns out, everyone who did this survived.
For Li Aozi, these issues were trivial.
In fact, this saved him the trouble of advancing and changing classes. His overall attributes had increased significantly— it was a massive gain.
Specialties can be trained and farmed, but crossing into a higher tier can take a long time, require life-threatening risks, and might not even succeed.
Starting at Gamma-tier, Li Aozi estimated that this body could be used until Theta-tier (Θ, the 8th Greek letter, corresponding to at least level 160).
Since it's just a colony body, Li Aozi could use it recklessly without worry.
Taking over Leo, a societal outcast, was an all-in-one solution, solving his identity problem. No one would miss Leo, an unlikeable man with no social connections.
In fact, Blue Chrysanthemum Village might even celebrate the loss of a bully.
Everyone has a brighter future ahead.
