"Here we are."
I smiled as the black sedan rolled to a stop outside the Harrington & Co building, one of New York's oldest financial institutions.
The building wasn't like the old men trying to blend in with the new kids but was an old man wearing his age with pride.
The building was well kept and it showed.
Jenny and I stepped out of the car, standing there as we gazed up at the building.
"Ready?" I asked, glancing at her.
She adjusted her blazer, her eyes focused on the door of the building. "As I'll ever be."
I almost groaned, having expected her to say I was born ready but I guess no one else but me actually lived in my own fantasy.
"Let's show them why Apex should be ours." She said as she began walking.
I followed her, liking the note of confidence in her voice. I had no idea if she was actually confident or faking it till she made it but it didn't matter. All that mattered was showing the people on the other side of the negotiation table our confidence.
