While the Hallucination Predator lacked the raw power and shock factor of creatures like the Xenomorph or Siren Head—perhaps even being less intimidating than the Predatory Bus—its true terror lay in its stealth.
It didn't hide in the traditional sense. Instead, it seamlessly blended into everyday life.
No one would ever suspect that something so ordinary, something they use daily, could be a deadly monster in disguise.
Who would ever think that a sandwich or a bottle of shampoo could actually be a Hallucination Predator?
Many victims likely never even realized what killed them.
For this reason, the Hallucination Predator was a terrifying, invisible killer.
And more importantly—it actually killed people.
Many agreed that they would rather face a visible threat like the Xenomorph, at least knowing where the danger was coming from.
As the audience digested this terrifying reality, the screen continued playing.
["Next, let's predict the upcoming species—Greedy Sandworms."]
As the narration continued, an image of a sand dune appeared on the screen.
["Greedy Sandworms resemble ordinary sand dunes at first glance, but they are actually a massive collective of microscopic worm-like organisms, each measuring at the micrometer scale. These creatures exhibit extreme carnivorous tendencies and aggression. They actively hunt for prey by forming rolling spheres of sand to chase their targets. Numerous witnesses have reported seeing enormous rolling sand spheres burying animals alive. When the sand sphere moves away, only bones remain."]
["The Foundation initially received reports of people being 'eaten by the desert' and assumed they were dealing with regular quicksand. However, after reviewing the accompanying images and accounts, it was clear something far more sinister was at work."]
A video began playing on the screen.
["In the middle of a vast desert, a mound of sand began to rise as though something underneath was pushing it upward. The sand then started forming a sphere and rolled toward the cameraman."]
["AAAAAAHHH! RUN!"]
["The terrified photographers turned and fled, but the sand sphere quickly gained on them, growing larger as it rolled."]
["Within moments, the rolling sand engulfed the photographer and his companion. The sphere then stopped, crumbling back into countless grains that scattered across the desert."]
["By the time the sand settled, the photographer was gone—his body completely consumed, leaving only his skeletal remains behind."]
["After reviewing the footage, the Foundation immediately dispatched agents to investigate the desert region."]
["Upon arriving at a nearby town, the agents interviewed the locals and learned of a long-standing legend about 'man-eating sand.' According to the villagers, clusters of sand would consume travelers and animals that strayed into the desert. Because of this, many locals avoided the region altogether. Those who had to cross the desert were warned to be wary of approaching sand movements."]
["With this information, the agents ventured into the desert, while a support team remained in the town, ready to provide assistance. Helicopters followed overhead to ensure the safety of the field agents."]
["For three days and nights, the agents searched the desert but encountered no signs of the so-called man-eating sand. This led them to suspect that either the reports were exaggerated or they were simply unlucky."]
["Just as the lead agent was preparing to continue the investigation, he suddenly sank into what appeared to be quicksand. His body was rapidly being swallowed into the depths of the desert."]
["Seeing the agent in distress, the support team prepared to assist, but before they could act, the situation took a horrifying turn."]
["The agent's skin began to disappear in small patches, as if it were being devoured. At first, the affected areas were minuscule and hard to notice, but soon, they spread across his entire body."]
["Strangely, the agent seemed completely unaware of what was happening. Focused only on escaping, he did not notice his own body deteriorating."]
["By the time he felt the pain from the exposed muscle tissue beneath his missing skin, it was too late—his body had been reduced to a bloody husk."]
["This horrifying discovery confirmed the existence of the Greedy Sandworms. What people had assumed was quicksand was, in fact, a trap created by these creatures."]
["Countless grains of sand rained down upon the agent, resembling a living wave of sand swarming over his body. The more aggressive sand particles struggled to reach him, pushing and climbing over one another like a feeding frenzy."]
["As the support team descended to rescue him, an enormous wave of Greedy Sandworms—those unable to get a share of the agent's flesh—suddenly surged toward them like a cascading sandfall."]
["AAAAAAAHHH!"]
["Within minutes, the entire rescue team was consumed, leaving behind only their sun-bleached bones, reflecting the harsh desert light."]
["With no more prey, the Greedy Sandworms ceased movement, blending seamlessly into the sand and drifting with the wind, becoming indistinguishable from the ordinary desert."]
["Upon receiving this intelligence, the Foundation immediately mobilized a heavily armed Mobile Task Force to contain the Greedy Sandworms."]
["Unlike conventional SCPs, the Greedy Sandworms are not a single entity, but a swarm of microscopic organisms. This makes conventional weapons like explosives or cages ineffective. The only viable containment strategy is to trap them within massive, specially designed containment boxes measuring over 100 meters in length and width."]
["When the task force arrived at the agent's last known location, the Greedy Sandworms had already moved elsewhere. Tracking them was nearly impossible, as their movement through the sand could not be detected via satellite surveillance."]
["This forced the Foundation to deploy additional manpower and firepower to patrol the entire desert region in search of the creatures."]
["This was no small feat. The sight of fully armed soldiers and helicopters scouring the desert drew attention, forcing the Foundation to expend significant resources on damage control and public cover-ups."]
["Finally, during the night, the task force detected the movement of the Greedy Sandworms. Reports indicated sightings in multiple locations, hinting at the sheer number of these creatures."]
["Following the original containment plan, task force members lured the Greedy Sandworms into the specially designed containers. Once inside, the operatives swiftly exited through an escape hatch and immediately sealed the opening with welded metal plates to ensure not a single grain of sand escaped."]
["From that point on, the Foundation began transporting countless containers filled with these creatures to designated research facilities. The number of containment boxes transported that night was impossible to count—whether it was a thousand or several thousand, no one knew for sure."]
["All that was certain was that the Foundation's personnel, from transport teams to containment specialists, were worked to exhaustion that night. Some even jokingly speculated whether they would need to transport the entire desert before the Greedy Sandworms were fully contained."]
