"Am I interrupting something?" They heard someone ask.
Allison's head instinctively turned to the direction the voice was coming from. When her eyes landed on Kace, she immediately tore her face from him when she felt blood rushing towards her face and ears—remembering what happened the last time they'd seen each other.
"Who are you?" Mr. Quinn questioned when his eyes settled on Kace, utterly annoyed by the interruption. "Can't you see we're having a conversation?"
"I'm already done talking to you, so please, leave," Allison said, already feeling a headache due to the presence of her father.
"Who's this man?!!" Mr. Quinn questioned, sizing Kace up and down. When he noticed the car behind the latter, his eyebrows furrowed as an idea popped into his head.
"He's my friend," Allison replied. Before she could complete the rest of her words, Mr. Quinn swiftly pulled her further away from Kace where his ears wouldn't be able to hear what next he wanted to request from her.
