Muzi, trembling all over and head bowed, let the other person stroke her hair as if she were a pet.
Suzuki nodded in satisfaction. "Good, now what we need is to stabilize your mother. You need to help me calm her down. We have to work together with the voice synthesizer to make your mother believe that your father has left."
"You must help me, do you understand? You must never let your mother find out that it was you who caused your father's death. If she ever found out, think about how heartbroken she would be, how disappointed in you."

He only knew that the next day when he came back to clean, the family of four was already seated there, eating, each with a different expression on their faces.
"Mother, where's father?" Jian Tai asked the haggard-looking mistress of the house.
Before the mistress could speak, Suzuki immediately interjected, "Oh, your father had some matters to attend to and has gone out. Before he left, he asked me to help look after the house. From now on, we're all one family, so if you have any troubles, remember to come to me."
Suzuki cast a strange glance at his brother-in-law, said nothing more, and continued eating his meal.
