"Mr. Langman, we at the Internal Revenue Service follow regulations. What do you mean by that?"
David spread his hands, appearing innocent.
"Your regulations? Your regulations take away our office's people. What the hell is that?"
"They are suspected of tax evasion, and we at the IRS will take them. Are you, Mr. Langman, as a distinguished senator, really going to shield them?"
Hearing the accusation of shielding, Langman was so angry that he almost clenched his teeth to pieces.
After a moment, he threatened fiercely, "Fine, if you can't convict them, then I, Langman, will do nothing else in my life but seek justice for them!"
"Suit yourself!"
David now looked down on even The Big Three Groups, let alone fearing a mere senator's threats.
If it weren't for the fact that the other party still held the title of senator, and he didn't want to cause a stir in the congress by taking a senator away, he would have dealt with him right then and there!
