Ryan gave Dinaia a look, before he turned to Isaac:
"Jason's ETA?"
"Five minutes, sir."
Isaac was back in full battle mode, something some, if not most, soldiers never forgot all their lives, even after they had retired.
Ryan nodded, and went on:
"Our people?"
"Will be here soon. I have called back those on their day off. The security will be tight, sir."
Ryan nodded, and said no more about the subject, making Isaac ask after a moment:
"Sir, should I call the rest back from overseas?"
Ryan raised his head from his computer he looked like he had been about to get busy with, and gave Isaac an impassive glance. The latter shrank back, but held his ground, his anger apparent behind his grave expression, so Ryan replied as he lowered his head again:
