As they dined and chatted, the table was full of dishes. Fu Zhiwen had tasted a spoonful or two of each one, not showing a particular liking for anything and slowly sipping his wine. Miao Ruochen couldn't help but ask, "Lord Fu, didn't you say you wanted to eat seafood? But it seems like you don't really like it much?"
Fu Zhiwen smiled, "I don't dislike it."
"Then why doesn't Lord Fu eat?" Miao Ruochen asked again.
Fu Zhiwen found that Miao Ruochen liked to probe until the very end about everything, so he could only honestly say, "I still prefer the seafood cooked by my sister-in-law, that kind of flavor."
So he was saying that the chefs at the First Floor Restaurant couldn't match his sister-in-law's skills, although Fu Zhiwen expressed it more euphemistically.
