Hearing Byakuya's mocking words toward Imu, the Five Elders immediately lost their composure.
The blond-haired Elder pointed at Byakuya and berated him, "You traitor to the World Government! How dare you show such disrespect to Lord Imu?"
"Today, you and the Night Organization will face divine punishment!"
Byakuya scoffed, "Did I ask for your opinion? I'm talking to your ancestor—stay out of it."
As soon as he finished speaking, Byakuya casually pointed a finger at the blond-haired Elder.
A powerful energy wave erupted, instantly surging toward him. The next moment, a crisp clash rang out—
"Clang!"
Imu's sword blocked Byakuya's energy wave.
This was shocking, considering Byakuya had just used the same technique to effortlessly kill Ben Beckman, catching even Shanks off guard.
Yet, Imu had intercepted it easily, demonstrating an unfathomable power level.
The blond-haired Elder, his face full of fear, knelt before Imu and expressed his gratitude.
"Thank you, Lord Imu, for saving my life!"
Imu remained calm as he looked at Byakuya and said, "Your strength is indeed impressive."
"To have reached this level at such a young age... You are comparable to how I was four hundred years ago. The sea truly breeds powerful warriors."
His words revealed two terrifying truths.
First, Byakuya's strength was undeniably formidable—at twenty-one years old, he had already reached a level comparable to Imu at four hundred.
Second, Byakuya was still not Imu's match because Imu was now over eight hundred years old!
This realization sent Sengoku and the others into complete despair. They had no hope if even Byakuya wasn't strong enough to defeat Imu.
Many Marine soldiers began regretting their earlier decisions, wondering why they hadn't simply remained loyal to the World Government.
In reality, no one could have anticipated that the World Government had been hiding such an ancient monster.
After today, its dominance over the seas would be solidified, and no one would dare to challenge its rule.
Imu then asked, "What is your name?"
"Byakuya," he replied.
Imu took a closer look at Byakuya and noticed that he wasn't wearing a straw hat similar to the massive one stored within the Flower Room.
Surprised, Imu asked, "You are not of the D. Clan?"
Byakuya chuckled. "So, what? Do you need to be a member of the D. Clan or wear a straw hat to be worthy of attacking Mary Geoise?"
He knew exactly what Imu was curious about.
Although the original One Piece story hadn't concluded before he arrived, and Imu had only briefly appeared, certain things could still be inferred.
Imu seemed to target those with two distinct traits—belonging to the D. Clan and wearing a straw hat like Joy Boy's, which Luffy carried.
This was a matter of fate. Imu suddenly had a thought and said, "Since you are not of the D. Clan, I have no reason to strike you down."
"Your strength is still far below mine, and it would be a waste to kill you so easily. Why not join the World Government?"
"You will answer only to me, and your status will equal that of the Five Elders."
Byakuya smirked. "I've killed plenty of World Government members, you know."
Imu remained unfazed. "Those worthless fools were bound to die sooner or later. Every few years, new ones rise up from the sea."
Over the past eight centuries, Imu had grown indifferent to subordinates' lives.
The only thing that truly concerned him was the arrival of the fated "Child of Liberation" prophesied eight hundred years ago.
Since Byakuya wasn't that person, he wasn't destined to be eliminated.
Instead, if Imu could bring Byakuya under his control, it would prove useful when dealing with the true Child of Liberation in the future.
Byakuya looked at Imu's confident demeanor and couldn't help but laugh. "You sure you're not mistaken about something? "
"Do you really think you're stronger than me?" The Star Shatter Roar Cannon he had just fired was a 10% version of its full power.
If he unleashed it at full force, the entire planet would be destroyed, leaving no room for this ancient fossil to keep showing off.
Imu remained calm and said indifferently, "Confidence is good for the young, but too much confidence becomes arrogance."
Byakuya curled his finger, gesturing for Imu to come forward. "If you think I'm arrogant, why don't you test it out yourself?"
"You've given up your chance to live," Imu responded in his usual detached tone, as if nothing could stir his emotions.
"Save those words for yourself!"
Suddenly, Byakuya appeared before Imu, pulling his right arm back before throwing a powerful punch.
"Serious Punch!"
Imu, full of confidence, didn't dodge and instead raised his sword to block.
However, in the next second, his composure cracked, and his voice was filled with shock. "How can your strength be this overwhelming?"
The ancient longsword in his hand shattered instantly under Byakuya's punch, letting out a mournful wail.
The punch's unstoppable force landed directly on Imu, sending unimaginable power surging through every cell of his body.
Imu let out a scream of agony before being completely obliterated into a mist of blood.
The shockwave of the punch continued forward, wiping out the Five Elders, the once-prosperous Mary Geoise, and every single Celestial Dragon who resided there.
Byakuya then stomped his right foot onto the ground, causing the entire Red Line to shake violently.
With him at the center, the section of the Red Line where Mary Geoise once stood crumbled and sank into the ocean.
Meanwhile, Fish-Man Island, hidden 10,000 meters below the sea, began to rise from the depths.
It seamlessly merged with the remaining half of the Red Line, forming a brand-new continent before everyone's eyes.
.....
A month had passed since the legendary battle that decided the fate of the seas.
In this time, with the victorious Night Organization and the Marines relentlessly hunting down any remaining opposition, no one dared to call themselves a pirate anymore.
The world was divided into four major territories: the New World was ruled by the Night Organization, the Red Line and Fish-Man Island became the domain of the New World Government, the first half of the Grand Line remained under Marine control, and the Four Seas belonged to the Revolutionary Army.
However, everything changed when the one and only god of the seas, Byakuya, made his decree.
He forcibly united the four factions, creating a single nation to govern the entire world—the Kingdom of Vearth.
Byakuya became its first king, and Koby was personally appointed as his successor, naming him the second king.
After 20 Years of his tenure, a massive pitch-black void appeared in the sky, visible to everyone.
Without hesitation, King Byakuya, accompanied by his many queens, stepped into the abyss, becoming a legend recorded in the annals of history.
No one knew where he had gone. Perhaps beyond that black hole lay another world where Byakuya would forge a new legend. But who could say for certain?
