Chapter 178 - Harry's Confessions

"Do it, do it." Harry and Jet chanted together as every pair of eyes at the Slytherin table along with those close by were watching the thunderbird that was sat on one magically created small perch on the table and was facing another perch that was a small distance away.

The thunderbird let out a small trill before it leaped and spread its wing and glided to the next perch. Once it landed Harry and the nearby Slytherin's cheered while Hedwig let out a proud hoot.

"He did it!" Harry and Jet cheered. "Well done, Thor!"

"Thor?" Daphne asked.

"I never claimed to be good at naming things. It's a simple and easy name." Harry shrugged.

"I would have thought that you would've put more effort into naming your thunderbird." Blaise replied.

"I killed a minotaur, manticore and a dragon before I got it, I have put enough effort in." Harry replied before he reached a hand out. 'Thor', as the bird was now apparently called, jumped onto his hand. "You like the name 'Thor', don't you?" The bird let out a happy trill as it nodded his head.

"Thor as in the god of Thunder? Yes, that's an appropriate name for the nephew of Jet." Jet said in an approving voice.

"Nice name but it's not a very original one, is it?" Draco asked.

"Neither are albinos." Jet argued.

The next day a new newspaper article by Sharon Maddison (the woman who had wrote the article in Harry's first year) took the front page of the Daily Prophet, the interview talked all about the first task and she had even been able to get interviews from all four champions, the champions had honestly just been glad to not have to talk to Rita Skeeter.

The article talked about the task, how each champion did and their scores. It also mentioned how Harry had actually gone out to face his fourth opponent with an unhealed injury, this would of course increase Harry's popularity immensely. The Gryffindors felt like just got collectively slapped below the belt, since a snake proved to be the bravest student of Hogwarts.

Thought there was one person who was more angry than the Gryffindor's, that was Rita Skeeter. She knew that if she had gotten that article published then her career would have skyrocketed, but the brat had denied her. One way or another, she was going to make him pay.

"Angela," Harry said after a rather intense love making sensation, he was lying in his bed with Angela lying next to him, it went without saying that they both weren't wearing clothes at all. The only thing really covering them was in fact the bed cover. "that was amazing."

"You've earned it." She smiled at him. "I know you're very stressed with the whole tournament and now having two familiars, so if you ever need me to help you out then just say the word."

"There is something I want your help with." Harry admitted.

"Already?" She raised an eyebrow, her gaze shifted away from his face and started looking downwards.

"No, not with that. Well...that as well. But I do have something important to talk to you about." Harry sighed. "After the first task was finished I went to the tent and then Daphne rushed in and she...well...she kissed me. Twice."

"Oh, good." Angela said with an eye roll. "I was worried she'd never get around to it." She said, shaking her head.

"What?" Harry blinked as he looked at her with a confused expression.

"I've know that she has liked you for a while." Angela said. She was tempted to mention Tracey as well but decided not to, not yet at least.

"I...I noticed the signs but I guess I sort of just had ignored them or just not really thought about them because I thought she just wanted to be friends." Harry said in a thoughtful voice.

"If you're asking for my advice then I would recommend you try to pursue a relationship with her." Angela replied.

"What? Really?"

"Yes, she's a smart and beautiful girl, your age, comes from a wealthy family, her blood status will satisfy those obsessed with blood and she is someone you care about." Angela replied with a small smile.

"Oh, but what about us?" Harry asked. "You know if I have a girlfriend then we'll more than likely have to stop our lovely little 'meetings'."

"That is something we can discuss with Daphne," Angela told him as she leaned over and kissed him. "Do you trust me, Master? Do you trust that I will always do my best for you?"

"Of course I do." Harry said without hesitation.

"Then trust me and try to have a relationship with Miss Greengrass," Angela said as she moved closer, pressing against her body against his. "and remember that no matter what happens, I will be here for you if you need me." She smirked before she leaned in and kissed him again, it started soft but eventually deepened and the pair entered into another round of love making.
