Su Nian woke up in a daze, noticing an elderly lady with a full head of silver hair, sitting by the bedside. The lady seemed cheerful and was smiling at her. Seeing Su Nian awake, she immediately grasped her hand and leaned forward, "Child, you're awake? Did you sleep well?"
Still in a daze, Su Nian did not answer the old lady's inquiry straight away. Instead, she looked around the room. She remembered falling asleep in Su Hui's study, so how did she end up in a princess-like bedroom? The elderly lady in front of her looked vaguely familiar, too.
Tilting her head, she thought for a moment. Her just-awakened confusion and naivety made her look unbearably cute. The old lady couldn't help but want to pinch her cheeks, though she refrained.
"Did you sleep well, child?" The old lady didn't mind Su Nian's silence and patiently inquired again.
