I couldn't, not after what I was told. Morning rolls in and I sit on the bed with my back against a pillow, as I stare at nothing.
Iris didn't sleep either, she just say by me, worried, asking over and over again if I was okay.
Yet I gave no response.
Darius...he wouldn't, he couldn't.
"Luna...are you—"
"Did you know?" Is the first thing I'm able to say.
I dismiss my hollow demeanor and turn to Iris, my sunken gaze intent on her.
She falters, and pins her sights to the ground, avoiding my stare.
I wait, but she says nothing. She doesn't have to, her silence tells me all I need to know.
I turn away from her, as I continue to stare at nothing.
"Forgive me Luna, Miss Celine..."
I raise a hand to her, halting her.
She doesn't need to explain, it wasn't her fault.
Finally fed up of sulking, I make my way to the edge of the bed, then I get up and make my way for the bathroom.
"Luna..."
I raise a hand to her again, then I enter the bathroom and close the door behind me.
