A little over a year ago, outside of the Milky Way, in the lightless darkness where the stars were not even visible from afar, still silence reigned. It was even away from the usual scattered debris flying around at the edge of the closest arm of the Galaxy with inertia from untold years ago, or just recent collision with restless neighbors.
The darkness remained unchanged, looking ready to keep that perpetual state, until a ripple appeared, and it multiplied, like the fabric of the universe was a body of water. The disturbance didn't grow, remaining subtle, taking just about a second to let a shadow pass through it and appear in the dark emptiness. A shadow that was humanoid, and looking eerily reminiscent of the one who had visited the Path outside of Earth, and had cracked a planet like an egg with a mere mental slap.
