When Lucas was licked by the wave that fell on him as the smaller platform beneath him moved, the seemingly light slap made him feel as if his bones were about to break.

Even the explosion that had melted his flesh and shaken his organs into getting small tears all over them had felt like its shockwaves had passed through his bones without getting to them. Even his body, after all the fights he had been through, had hardly gotten any wound.
